Position Summary:

Works on a growing Information Technology Security team to protect the organization’s information, infrastructure, and stakeholders. Designs, builds, and manages security solutions including Identity and Access Management (IAM), endpoint security, firewalls, email security, application security (including software development security) and security awareness. This position requires a hands-on technical specialist who can handle the complex and detailed technical work necessary to establish security systems such as firewalls, monitoring software, encryption technology, cloud security and threat hunting across the enterprise. Conducts security assessments, develops policies and procedures, and is the subject matter expert for security-related issues. Provide security engineering expertise through all phases of Technology/Project Life Cycle.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Expertise in designing secure networks, systems, and application architectures
Manage/implement design, installation, configuration, setup, testing, troubleshooting, documentation of security solutions including IAM, endpoint security, firewalls, email security, content filtering and security awareness.
Proficient with networks, systems, applications, and cloud security
Proficiency with risk assessment and vulnerability scanning tools, technologies, and methods
Escalation point for security-related incidents
Proactively report possible threats and or vulnerabilities
Proactively research weaknesses and find ways to counter them
Find cost-effective solutions to cybersecurity problems
Information Technology Security representative on IT projects to provide security advice, expertise, and recommendations
Conduct security awareness training
Planning, researching, and developing security policies, standards and procedures
Ensure the tuning and effectiveness of security tools deployed across the environment
Work closely with our Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) and IT teams to review alerts and investigate security incidents
24/7 Availability for Identity & Access Management, Security Incident Response and Escalation
Performs other related job duties, as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technology field or equivalent experience required.
5+ years of total experience with 2+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and supporting enterprise information technology security solutions
Hands-on experience with endpoint security, network firewalls, email security gateways, content filtering, IAM, Single Sign On (SSO), windows servers and virtualization technology
Preferred experience: Azure, SSO, Cisco Firewalls, Defender Security, VMWare, EDR, XDR, Cisco Umbrella DNS Security, Hybrid Infrastructure
Knowledge of Microsoft Cloud Products (Office 365, Intune, Azure, Azure VM, NSG’s, Azure Sentinel, ATP, Azure Active Directory)
Relevant and Current Certifications Preferred: e.g., CompTIA Security+, PenTest+, OSCP, CEH, CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CCNP Security, CISA, etc.

(WHTM) - GIANT is making a big move to help local children with critical illnesses. The company announced that it would partner with the Philadelphia, Delaware and Susquehanna Valley chapter of Make-A-Wish for a $250,000 donation, helping to grant 20 local wishes. WHTM daily digest. As part of the donation, the GIANT in Camp Hill is also hosting a special event Monday, where one child and their family will embark on a "fun-filled scavenger hunt" throughout the store, spotlighting the wish they will receive. This is the second straight year GIANT has donated to Make-A-Wish, having also contributed $250,000 last year, which supported 19 wishes.

Nordstrom and Saks Fifth Avenue unveiled their 2026 efforts a day apart, and both sell the same core idea: that the hunt for the perfect gift is part of the pleasure. How each retailer gets there, though, says a lot about where it is placing its bets this season. Nordstrom's campaign, announced October 12, is built around sound: the crinkle of wrapping paper, the hum of a full dinner table, the reaction to a well-chosen gift. Its centerpiece is a partnership with the estate of David Bowie, whose "Let's Dance" scores a streaming TV spot that turns the living room into a stage for a holiday gathering. The tie-in extends well beyond the ad. Bowie80, marking the artist's 80th birthday year, brings immersive shops to the Chicago, NYC and Seattle flagships and Nordstrom.com starting in November, with exclusive and limited-edition collections from AllSaints, Barbour, Paul Smith, Marc Jacobs, Undercover Jun Takahashi and others, a lineup with clear menswear appeal. Elsewhere, Nordstrom is leaning on breadth: a holiday catalog of more than a thousand gifts, expanded in-store gift shops, and a new FAO Schwarz partnership that includes a shop inside the NYC flagship and jewel box locations in eight additional stores. For its 125th anniversary, the retailer has also revived its Nordy mascot, now joined by a sidekick named Disco. Service rounds out the story, with new app features including an In Store mode with interactive maps and one-scan pickup and returns, an AI-powered Request a Look styling tool, a Gift Edit feature, and same-day beauty delivery in more than 15 markets. Its long-running Shoes That Fit partnership aims to raise another $1.7 million this season. Saks Fifth Avenue's "Main Character Energy" campaign, launched October 13, keeps the focus squarely on its New York flagship. Directed and shot by Nadine Ijewere, the campaign follows a group of friends, Ruby Lyn, Stella Jones, Solange Smith, Luna Yohannan, Divine Mugisha and George McNally, through the store as they shop for others, treat themselves and plan looks for the season's parties. Cheryl Han, chief marketing and digital officer of parent company Exemplar Luxury Group, said the aim was to capture "the unexpected discoveries, moments of delight and sense of possibility" of the season, carried from Fifth Avenue through Saks.com. The Holiday Gift Guide, live now, includes Gifts for Him alongside Gifts for Her, Beauty Gifts and Gifts Under $200, and men get two dedicated edits, Most Wanted and Men's Holiday Dressing. In store, the flagship hosts a Holiday Market with globally sourced décor and gifts, a life-size Santa, dancing penguins and an exclusive snow globe, while the new Epicure program packages gourmet treats in New York-themed keepsake tins. Darcy Penick, Exemplar's president and chief commercial officer, said the assortment was curated to deliver an experience "that feels distinctly Saks and uniquely personal." The season culminates November 23 with the unveiling of the holiday windows and light show, presented by Bread Financial, the season's official payment sponsor. Saks is also partnering with Make-A-Wish on an in-store fundraising campaign.

(WHTM) - The Make-A-Wish Mother's Day Truck Convoy has been a longtime staple of Lancaster County for over three decades. Its 38th edition will have a new home in 2027. Make-A-Wish Philadelphia, Delaware & Susquehanna Valley announced Monday that next year's convoy will take place at Hess Auctioneers in Marietta on Saturday, May 8, 2027. This week in pennsylvania. The event's starting point for the last seven years has been at the Manheim PA Auto Auction. LNP | LancasterOnline reported in August that the convoy, which moved from the Burle Business Park in 2020, was looking for a new host following "logistical issues" on the auto auction's end. "We are thrilled to have found a new home for the Mother's Day Truck Convoy at Hess Auctioneers," Jennifer Davis, President & CEO of Make-A-Wish Philadelphia, Delaware & Susquehanna Valley, said in a press release. "This event is such a meaningful tradition for our drivers, wish families and supporters, and we are excited to continue bringing everyone together in Lancaster County to make wishes come true." "Hess Auctioneers is humbled and excited to partner with Make-A-Wish to host the 38th annual Truck Convoy," Bill Troop, GM/Partner, Hess Auctioneers, said. "Our team and partner companies are looking forward to being part of and supporting this exciting event. It's an excellent opportunity for us to give back to a great cause while helping to shine a positive light on the trucking industry." Since its inception, the convoy has raised over $10 million, also aiding in making over 1,000 wishes possible for children across the region. The 2027 iteration will feature Family Fest, which offers activities and entertainment for families at 9 a.m., before the convoy hits the road at 1:30 p.m. for its 18-mile route through Lancaster County. As part of the accommodation for the site at Hess, the convoy will be limited to 150 tractor-trailers in 2027. Registration opens Monday, Oct. 19. There will be no on-site registration on the day of the event. The 2026 convoy was the first to travel through Dauphin County. It raised nearly $450,000 for the foundation and featured just under 400 trucks along its 33-mile route.
