About the job
- At least 5 years of experience working with an Agile implementation team, including writing user stories, grooming the product backlog, and planning releases.
- Experience reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business IT systems and user needs.
- Ability to formulate IT systems that align with overall business strategies.
- Ability to capture detailed descriptions of user needs and translate high-level functional, technical, and performance-based requirements into detailed acceptance criteria for epics and user stories.
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle of Agile IT projects.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA and Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
- Relevant experience working with web-based applications and modern web technologies.
- A bachelor's degree in business management, information systems, computer science, or a related field.
- Applicants must provide artifacts from previous projects, which may include user stories, user requirements, business process documents, or user acceptance testing scenarios.
- Elicit and understand clients’ business needs and missions; define requirements, write user stories, manage a product backlog, and develop prototypes for proposed solutions.
- Study existing business processes, programs, and legacy systems in their native environments; comprehensively analyze existing problems and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze and design proposed solutions while facilitating the development of multiple solution options to address business needs.
- Collaborate with developers and test engineers to ensure teams understand customer functional and technical requirements.
- Identify and understand customer expectations during requirements gathering and serve as the primary point of contact for customer communications during that phase.
- Facilitate reconciliation of differences between customer needs and the system proposal, reducing scope creep and impacts to delivered-system quality.
- Prepare project documentation, including meeting minutes, business process documents, and process workflow diagrams.
