Requirements

A bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Business is required.
At least 2–5 years of work experience in buying/purchasing and/or planning is required.
Knowledge of purchasing systems and processes is required; Oracle Cloud Procurement experience is preferred.
Above-average communication skills in English are required.
Demonstrated analytical skills are required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
Willingness to work a shifting or crewing schedule is required.

Responsibilities

Provide Level 1 support to global end users for Oracle Cloud Procurement.
Approve and gatekeep purchase requisitions, and create purchase orders for an onsemi business unit.
Act as a liaison among manufacturing and non-manufacturing sites.
Resolve purchase requisition and purchase order issues, invoice and payment disputes, and provide real-time purchase order troubleshooting support to cross-functional teams at the supported site or operating unit.
Review and monitor approved requisitions in Oracle for assigned commodities or groups of commodities.
Manage the purchase requisition queue and create or release purchase orders within agreed cycle times and business hours, according to requirements or specifications.
Coordinate with site buyers, site requesters, or users to resolve questions and clarifications about requisitions.
Maintain purchase order accuracy, including system parameter setup and successful releases of Blanket Purchase Agreements.
Ensure supply continuity by confirming pricing and supplier commitments, updating delivery information, performing order acknowledgment and delivery follow-up, and keeping purchase order details current in the system.
Manage supplier data and facilitate timely supplier onboarding.

Oracle Cloud Procurement experience.

Support POC operations

Level 1 support to global endusers for Oracle Cloud Procurement. Approve and gatekeep Purchase Requisitions, create Purchase Orders needed by an onsemi business unit, ability to be liaison among network of manufacturing and non-manufacturing sites.
System expert in resolving PR/PO issues, invoice and payment disputes, and real time PO troubleshooting partner to the various cross functional teams of the site or operating unit that he/she is supporting.
Review and monitoring of approved Requisitions through Oracle as requested by the end users under a specific commodity or group of commodities. The POC Buyer is expected to manage the PR queue and create/release the POs in agreed cycle time and business hours, in accordance with the requirements or specifications. He/She is expected to coordinate with the Site Buyers/Site Requester or Users for any questions, clarifications arising from the Requisitions.
System accuracy of Purchase Orders, including system parameter set-up and successful releases of Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA).
It is also POC Buyer’s responsibility to ensure supply continuity by confirming pricing and supplier commitments, updates in delivery, perform Order Acknowledgment and Delivery Follow-up, and making sure that the PO details in the system is up to date.
Managing supplier data and facilitating the timely onboarding of suppliers.
