Since 1991, Chrysalis Enterprises runs paid transitional jobs that provide real-work experiences in fields like maintenance, janitorial, warehouse, and front desk across LA and OC. What believers are saying

  • June 2026 wefox financing gave Chrysalis improved economic terms and a €7 million follow-on stake.
  • 16 June 2026 Smart Pension secondary purchase increased exposure to a growing pensions platform.
  • Ending buybacks and repaying Barclays debt freed cash for strategic investments and shareholder returns.

What critics are saying

  • 2026 NAV fell 22%; Starling, Klarna, and wefox drove most of the damage.
  • The £16.1 million wefox waterfall error signals weak valuation controls and audit risk.
  • A prolonged wind-down with no exits destroys Chrysalis' relevance and traps shareholder capital.

What makes Chrysalis unique

  • Chrysalis owns concentrated stakes in Starling, Klarna, and wefox; that portfolio defines returns.
  • August 2026 self-managed model ends Chrysalis Investment Partners, cutting external-manager dependence and fees.
  • It keeps governance and information rights across private fintechs, unusual for public investors.
