Requirements

  • Completed secondary education is required.
  • Experience in production, manufacturing, assembly, or industrial processes is desirable.
  • Ability to follow work instructions and procedures.
  • Availability to work in a manufacturing environment.
  • Commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork.
  • Production experience and willingness to learn are desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble products and components according to established work instructions.
  • Perform product functional tests and verification according to process requirements.
  • Meet quality standards for manufactured products.
  • Follow applicable operating instructions, procedures, and specifications.
  • Maintain conduct aligned with the work regulations and Xylem Code of Conduct.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement events and support Point Kaizen objectives.
  • Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area using the 5S methodology.
  • Support activities in different areas or production lines when required.
  • Complete assigned training programs.
  • Comply with Environment, Health, Safety, and Security (EHS&S) policies.
  • Conduct safety inspections of the work area and equipment when assigned.
  • Promote a safe work environment for oneself, coworkers, and the environment.
  • Promptly report unsafe conditions, risks, incidents, and accidents.
  • Participate in incident investigations and safety and environmental analyses when required.
  • Perform work in accordance with the Environmental, Health, and Safety Management System, helping prevent occupational risks and meet the plant’s environmental objectives.
  • Participate in emergency response and support activities arising from the Safety and Hygiene Commission when required.
