Requirements
  • An MD or DO from an accredited medical school is required.
  • The candidate must be board-certified or board-eligible in Ophthalmology.
  • A fellowship in Cornea is required.
  • The candidate must have experience in complex cataract surgery and anterior segment surgery.
  • A Georgia medical license, or the ability to obtain one, is required.
Responsibilities
  • Perform high-volume cornea, cataract, and anterior segment surgeries with a focus on excellent surgical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
  • Evaluate and manage a wide spectrum of cornea, cataract, and anterior segment conditions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including optometrists, ophthalmic technicians, and surgical support staff.
  • Utilize dedicated ophthalmology operating room space equipped with the latest surgical technologies.
Desired Qualifications
  • Three to five years of post-residency experience is preferred, but not required.
