About the job

Requirements
  • Experience owning a high-volume book of approximately 10 to 30 concurrent customer engagements, projects, or accounts through to completed outcomes in partner success, customer success, delivery management, or technical account management.
  • Ability and appetite to create structure, clarity, and programmatic motions while managing in-flight work engagement by engagement; prior experience documenting a review format, checklist, or play for others to use.
  • Track record of delivering a metric tied to completed work and customer behavior, such as on-time delivery, adoption, retention, consumption, or expansion, and an operating rhythm built to achieve it.
  • Judgment to review a partner engagement plan or scope, assess whether it can finish on time and produce usage, and ask follow-up questions that surface risks.
  • Escalation and unblocking judgment across partner, customer, direct sales, customer success, and product stakeholders; ability to identify issue ownership, obtain help, and stay engaged through resolution.
  • Ability to speak and present to partner executives, delivery practitioners, customers, and internal leadership, including quarterly practice reviews, enablement sessions, and executive escalations.
  • Deep understanding of customer success in a usage-based business, experience owning a metric tied to customer behavior, and ability to interpret and act on consumption trends.
  • Technical fluency sufficient to follow a partner architect’s walkthrough of a Claude engagement and ask substantive questions; coding is not required.
  • Active daily use of Claude or another large language model for work such as preparing reviews, drafting account plans, and analyzing a book of engagements.
Responsibilities
  • Own each customer engagement in the assigned book from partner matching through completion, and monitor scope, timeline, blockers, and customer Claude usage trends weekly.
  • Run weekly delivery reviews across the book and bring stalled or at-risk engagements to the weekly at-risk account review with a diagnosis, an owner, and a specific ask.
  • Resolve issues involving partner capacity, scope creep, customer readiness, product questions, deal-registration conflicts, and customer dissatisfaction by engaging the appropriate internal teams and following through to resolution.
  • Own delivery quality and consumption across the book; track on-time completion, time from match to completion, delivered consumption, weekly active use on customer accounts served by partners, and accounts trending at risk.
  • Build senior relationships with the practice and delivery leaders of managed partners, working with Partner Account Managers and Anthropic counterparts to establish trust and enable escalations, restaffing, or partner investment when needed.
  • Build each partner’s Claude practice through certified bench depth, a repeatable offering in a chosen industry lane, and a published customer story from each completed engagement.
  • Turn effective practices into reusable methodology, including engagement review packs, unblocking plays, and practice-building guides for partners, the Partner Success team, and the contract delivery team.
  • Run quarterly practice reviews with managed partners’ alliance and delivery leads, setting joint goals for completed customer engagements, customer adoption, certified practitioners, references, and industry positioning.
  • Deliver partner executive briefings, practitioner enablement sessions, and internal reviews, representing Partner Success to partner leadership, delivery teams, customers, and Anthropic leadership.
  • Steward partner funding requests by recommending for or against co-investment and program funding against stated outcomes and reconciling funding against milestones.
  • Manage handoffs from Partner Sales when a partner deal closes and from the Partner Delivery program when an engagement is matched; coordinate with Partner Account Managers, Customer Success Managers, and Anthropic direct sales on relevant accounts.
  • Instrument the assigned book and track engagements in flight and completed, stall rate and days to unblock, delivered consumption per partner, certified practitioner counts, and partner health trajectory.
  • Run the book using Claude-first workflows: validate telemetry-drafted diagnoses, use Claude to draft review packs, status notes, and escalation briefs, exercise judgment on exceptions and unblocking, and feed field insights into packages, playbooks, tier rules, and the health rubric.
Desired Qualifications
  • Five to eight years working with consulting and systems integration partners, or in delivery-facing customer success at a software company, cloud platform, or partner-led business.
  • Direct experience with systems integrators, including global firms such as Accenture, Deloitte, Capgemini, Infosys, TCS, or Wipro, or regional and boutique firms, and understanding of how their delivery practices are staffed and run.
  • Experience running at-risk or red account reviews and turning stalled work around.
  • Experience anchoring a surge team by setting the playbook and review pack used by contract or offshore delivery coordinators and maintaining the quality bar across them.
  • Depth in a specific industry vertical—financial services, healthcare, public sector, retail, or manufacturing—where the candidate has carried a book of partners or customers.
  • Experience stewarding co-investment funding or market development funding against specific outcomes, with formed opinions about what works and what does not.
  • Experience running quarterly business reviews with consulting firm practice leads and understanding what makes them productive rather than ceremonial.
  • Experience on a new team where the operating model was being developed while managing the book, and delivering both.

About the company

Anthropic builds the Claude family of AI models and sells them to businesses, software developers, and consumers, with research on making AI safe and understandable at the center of its work. In 2024 it introduced the Model Context Protocol, an open standard for connecting AI assistants to outside apps and data that OpenAI and Google adopted the next year. People use the Claude app to write and analyze files, programmers hand coding tasks to Claude Code, and companies build Claude into their own products through its API. Anthropic earns money from subscriptions, business plans, and usage-based API fees. Siblings Dario and Daniela Amodei founded Anthropic in 2021 with other former OpenAI employees, and it is based in San Francisco.

What believers are saying

  • Sales are multiplying: Anthropic's yearly revenue pace topped $65 billion in July 2026, over sevenfold since December 2025.
  • IPO plans advanced: October 2026 reports describe investor meetings and a mid-November listing target; staff shares face lockups.
  • Lower office minimum: 627 of 646 Anthropic job posts in October 2026 require at least 25% office time.

What critics are saying

  • Job security rides on growth: Anthropic's IPO prospectus lists $518 billion in cloud and computing bills due in coming years.
  • Defense work stays off-limits: in September 2026, appeals judges voted 2-1 to let the Pentagon keep blacklisting Anthropic.
  • Growth is priced in: Anthropic's valuation reached $965 billion in May 2026, up from $380 billion in February.

What makes Anthropic unique

  • Investors don't control its board alone: Anthropic's independent Long-Term Benefit Trust elects a growing number of directors.
  • It isn't tied to one chipmaker: Claude runs on Nvidia GPUs plus custom AI chips designed by Google and Amazon.
  • It holds back its riskiest model: Claude Mythos 5.1, launched September 2026, goes only to vetted cyberdefenders and life scientists.

Musk pledges SpaceX shares to every US child, a day after Anthropic's 5% fund

Elon Musk said on X on Monday that next year he would give every child in America one SpaceX share. He called the donations "the first of many." The post drew over 33 million views in a day. President Donald Trump thanked Musk for his "incredible generosity." No plan has emerged. Musk did not explain the pledge on SpaceX's Tuesday earnings call, where the company reported a 161% rise in revenue from a year earlier. He hinted the shares could go through the new "Trump Accounts" program, which CNBC said may limit when recipients can sell. The pledge came one day after rival Anthropic announced a "Public Benefit Fund" and plans to donate 5% of its shares to it. Musk suggested Anthropic give shares "directly to the public," then said four hours later, "This is what I will be doing.

Anthropic's S-1 reveals $750B cloud spend and capacity struggles with AWS, Google and Microsoft

Anthropic is struggling to secure enough cloud capacity from AWS, Google, and Microsoft, which increasingly see it as a competitor rather than a customer. That is according to an S-1 filing leaked to The Wall Street Journal. The filing says Anthropic believes it could spend more than $750 billion on cloud contracts, some still in negotiation. It is also leasing its own data centres and using third-party operators, but worries their "limited operating history" could make them less reliable than the big cloud providers. Anthropic posted an $80.7 billion net loss in the first half of the year on $16.3 billion in revenue. Two customers account for about a fifth of sales. The company told investors third-quarter revenue reached $16.8 billion, up 45% from the previous quarter. It is reportedly targeting a November IPO.

Anthropic's $80.7B first-half net loss shouldn't deter IPO investors, strategist says

Anthropic has disclosed about $80.7 billion in net losses for the first half of 2026 in a draft filing for an initial public offering (IPO), according to reports from the Wall Street Journal and Reuters. B. Riley Wealth chief market strategist Art Hogan says the losses are no surprise. Revenue growth has slowed a little, he said, while spending on infrastructure has not. Hogan expects Anthropic to stress its strong revenue growth and to aim to list before Thanksgiving. He said OpenAI is likely to follow next year, and that SpaceX will be watching the same pool of investors. Investors will watch whether revenue growth keeps outpacing computing costs.

Anthropic S1 reportedly shows $80.7B first-half loss and up to $750B in planned computing spend

Anthropic PBC lost $80.7 billion in the first half of this year and could spend $750 billion on additional computing power in the coming years, the Wall Street Journal reported. The newspaper said it obtained a copy of the company's S1 filing as Anthropic prepares to go public.

isolved Connector for Claude now covers full employee lifecycle, from pay checks to missed punches

isolved, a Workforce Capital Management company, has expanded its isolved Connector for Claude to cover the full employee lifecycle. Employees can now update contact information, get notifications, submit a missed punch, and manage timecard adjustments inside Claude. The connector launched in June. It lets employees check pay history, paystubs, time-off balances, and enrolled benefits without logging into a separate portal. Before any change is submitted, it shows what will change and asks for confirmation. Pay and benefits records are view-only. The company's 2026 HR Leaders Report found that 48% of HR leaders spend one to three hours a day answering repetitive employee questions, and 47% spend four hours or more. Next, isolved plans to add manager workflows, HR and administrator tools, and agentic experiences.
