Requirements

  • A high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) credential is required.
  • A valid Michigan driver's license is required.
  • Employees must be vaccinated or have laboratory-confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella, or have an approved exemption where applicable.
  • Employees must receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year they are hired and annually thereafter, or have an approved medical or religious exemption.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the main laboratory as a laboratory aide.
  • Perform phlebotomy throughout the hospital.
