About the job
- Experience working with natural or whole food ingredients.
- A Food Safety Certificate.
- At least 1 year of cooking experience.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform repetitive movements in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to work variable shifts on occasion, including evenings when needed.
- Prepare sandwiches and lunch items, test new and existing products or ingredients, and prepare products for each day.
- Make food orders as requested in a consistent and timely manner.
- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies.
- Prepare soup and salad for the next day’s orders.
- Prepare vegetables and other items needed for daily orders.
- Manage food supply inventory and assist with inventory counts and stock management.
- Ensure food is delivered simultaneously, at high quality, and in a timely manner.
- Lead team members to ensure food is produced and delivered to customers in accordance with company policies.
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
- Complete cleaning and dishwashing duties each shift.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Product development and research and development experience.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office programs.
