Designing Systems That Support Patient Care - Electrical Engineer - Healthcare - Raleigh, NC

As our project backlog continues to grow, we are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Healthcare Electrical Department in Raleigh, NC.

Our Raleigh, NC office is home to over 300 design professionals, including a highly specialized MEPS Healthcare Group that excels in master-planning and design services for major healthcare clients across North Carolina, Virginia, and South Carolina. Our extensive portfolio includes high-stakes projects such as major trauma centers, oncology facilities, ambulatory care centers, central plants, and medical school facilities. Our healthcare group is comprised of subject matter experts who actively contribute to and present at ASHE conferences, and we proudly serve many of the largest hospital systems in the region. Beyond healthcare, our Raleigh office also features dedicated MEPS design teams focused on higher education, K-12 schools, infrastructure, and more.

Dewberry’s Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Structural (MEPS) team includes many offices & staff organized into a MEPS service line focused on nationwide clients in specialized facility types and specialized MEPS design services. Our experience includes high-performance buildings, hospitals, net zero/renewable energy technologies, microgrid and energy resilience design, and a broad set of other MEPS services. Our service line contains subject matter experts (SME), many of whom are in leadership roles in international professional organizations.  Our repeat clients include universities, healthcare systems, state, local, and federal government agencies, and large global industrial manufacturers, among others. Required Skills & Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3-5+ years of experience required with progressive technical experience in the design of electrical systems.
• Experience designing/troubleshooting building automation control systems.
• Tridium certified is a plus.
• FE preferred.
• Self-motivated and well organized.
• Good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
