Responsibilities
  • Research (40%): Undertake research, validation, back-testing, and production of return and risk factors; document and communicate the findings; keep current with relevant publications
  • Infrastructure (40%): maintain and actively contribute to enhancement and design of the research and production infrastructure.
  • Communication (20%): assist in creating and maintaining sales and service materials

  • Strong academic record with high mathematical, statistical and computing content
  • Experience with equity factor models
  • Ability to explain results and model features to non-technical audiences.

SEI opens Singapore office as city-state's asset management sector hits $5T

SEI has opened a Singapore office to expand its asset servicing, professional services, and UCITS fund distribution in Asia-Pacific. The move follows strong regional growth, with assets under management at Singapore-based firms reaching S$6.7 trillion in 2025, up 10% year-on-year. Connall McGuckian has been appointed managing director and head of Singapore. He joins from State Street Singapore, where he most recently served as chief operating officer for alternatives investment solutions in Asia-Pacific. SEI provides asset servicing for 48 of the world's 100 largest asset managers and ranks among the top five administrators of private assets globally. The company manages, advises, or administers approximately $2.1 trillion in assets as of 30 June 2026.

SEI Investments reports record Q2 2026: revenue up 15%, adjusted EPS surges 38% year-over-year

SEI Investments reported record quarterly results for Q2 2026, with revenue up 15% year-over-year and adjusted earnings per share rising 38%. Adjusted operating profit increased 36%, while adjusted operating margins expanded by 500 basis points compared to Q2 2025. The company recorded $43 million in sales events during the quarter.
