About the job

Requirements
  • At least 10 years of experience in presentation design, visual communications, graphic design, information design, brand design, editorial design, or a closely related discipline.
  • Substantial in-house experience at a large, complex, matrixed company, with sustained direct partnership with executives and senior business leaders on consequential communications.
  • Ability to work across business units, communications teams, subject-matter experts, and creative disciplines while navigating layered stakeholders and sensitive information.
  • Track record of independently leading work from an ambiguous communication problem through narrative development, creative direction, hands-on design, and final delivery.
  • Portfolio demonstrating outstanding contemporary design, original graphic work, and high-stakes executive storytelling, with a clear explanation of personal contribution.
  • Mastery of typography, layout, composition, visual hierarchy, image-making, and pacing, supported by a distinctive point of view and thoughtful creative rationale.
  • Sophisticated information-design skills and strong editorial judgment to simplify data, diagrams, processes, and complex arguments while protecting their meaning.
  • Practical hands-on motion-design capability, including purposeful animation beyond standard slide transitions, and judgment about when motion adds value.
  • Ability to quickly understand unfamiliar business subjects, identify what matters, and connect individual communications to broader company priorities.
  • Listening, writing, presentation, and facilitation skills, including helping a leader articulate an idea that is not yet fully formed.
  • Confidence questioning assumptions, proposing a clearer narrative, and discussing creative tradeoffs with senior stakeholders respectfully and collaboratively.
  • Ability to synthesize feedback, validate interpretations, protect confidential information, and maintain momentum as priorities or perspectives evolve.
  • Self-directed working style: establish a strong approach, make recommendations, and move work forward while recognizing when to seek input or escalate a decision.
  • Ability to raise the quality of other people’s work through critique, shared expertise, reusable systems, and example.
  • Accountability for outcome quality and collaboration effectiveness, including reliable communication, thoughtful handoffs, and openness to feedback.
  • Advanced proficiency in Keynote and Google Slides, including building sophisticated, reliable, and editable presentation systems.
  • Strong command of graphic-design tools including Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop, alongside some hands-on experience with After Effects or an equivalent motion-design tool.
  • Portfolio should show how the candidate clarified a communication challenge, shaped the narrative, developed the visual approach, and delivered the final work; demonstrate presentation excellence and broader graphic or motion-design capability and distinguish the candidate’s own contributions from collaborators.
Responsibilities
  • Partner directly with directors, vice presidents, executives, and their communications and business teams to clarify the audience, essential message, and intended outcome of communications.
  • Lead working sessions that turn dense drafts, incomplete briefs, complex data, and loosely connected ideas into focused narratives; surface gaps or contradictions and confirm direction with stakeholders.
  • Develop story structures, sharpen slide headlines, edit presentation copy, and recommend what to emphasize, combine, remove, or move into supporting material.
  • Translate strategic, technical, financial, and operational complexity into accessible stories while preserving accuracy, necessary nuance, and the leader’s authentic voice.
  • Concept, design, and refine executive presentations, keynotes, leadership communications, business reviews, company meetings, and other high-visibility storytelling moments.
  • Apply typography, composition, hierarchy, imagery, information design, and editorial pacing to create contemporary, clear, memorable work.
  • Create original graphics, diagrams, charts, and visual frameworks that explain ideas and relationships.
  • Use purposeful animation and motion to guide attention, reveal information, and strengthen understanding; extend visual language into related communications and collaborate with specialists when more complex execution is needed.
  • Establish productive relationships with senior leaders and their teams, adapting to different communication styles while maintaining a clear point of view on the work.
  • Present recommendations and explain creative rationale; constructively challenge approaches that weaken the message and offer stronger alternatives.
  • Interpret nuanced or conflicting feedback, distinguish communication needs from proposed execution, and help stakeholders reach clear decisions.
  • Exercise discretion, composure, and sound judgment with confidential information, evolving strategies, compressed timelines, and high-stakes revisions.
  • Define the creative approach, scope, working process, and key decisions needed to move assignments forward without waiting for a fully developed brief.
  • Independently manage multiple workstreams, coordinate relevant partners, and communicate progress, dependencies, risks, and tradeoffs early.
  • Maintain attention to content consistency, data accuracy, accessibility, visual detail, and production quality, confirming substantive changes with appropriate content owners.
  • Prepare and test work for executive meetings, live presentations, large-format screens, virtual environments, and distributed viewing; deliver organized, editable files and clear handoffs.
  • Introduce relevant references, contemporary design practices, new techniques, and thoughtful experimentation.
  • Give specific, constructive critique that improves the work and collaborators’ judgment, and seek and incorporate feedback on personal work.
  • Develop reusable frameworks, presentation systems, and working practices that improve quality and efficiency without making every story look or feel the same.
  • Share expertise, methods, source files, and project context to strengthen the team’s collective capability; guide designers, agencies, and production partners through expertise and influence when needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in a large technology or product-led organization is particularly relevant.
  • Familiarity with PowerPoint is helpful, although it is not the primary presentation platform for the role.
  • Thoughtful use of emerging technologies and approved AI-enabled tools to support exploration and execution without replacing original thinking, accuracy, confidentiality, or design judgment.
  • Approved, nonconfidential or appropriately anonymized portfolio case studies are welcome; public recognition is not required.

Intuit shares fall 50% but $8.6B free cash flow and 81% gross margin fuel rebound case

Intuit's shares have fallen more than 50% over the past year, but a bullish thesis argues the financial software maker is now cheap. The stock traded at $335.61 on October 21, 2026, with a forward price-to-earnings ratio of 12.66, against 28.90 a year earlier. Intuit, which owns QuickBooks, TurboTax, Credit Karma, and Mailchimp, posted $21.4 billion in revenue over the past twelve months, up 13.9%. Its gross margin is about 81%, and fiscal 2026 free cash flow was about $8.6 billion. The company is cutting about 17% of its workforce, roughly 3,000 jobs, to fund AI development. Risks include slower do-it-yourself tax growth, shareholder lawsuits, and lenders pulling back from Credit Karma. The average analyst price target of $405.60 implies about 26% upside from $321.57. Hedge fund holders rose to 98 from 92 in the second quarter.

Intuit (INTU) is expanding its artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities with a deal to acquire Sequence, a startup that automates billing, contracts and revenue recognition for businesses. The acquisition, announced Thursday, will add new capabilities to QuickBooks Online Advanced and Intuit Enterprise Suite as the company looks to capture a larger share of the mid-market financial software business. Financial terms were not disclosed. At the time of this writing, INTU stock traded up more than 4%. What Sequence brings to Intuit. Sequence's platform automates the quote-to-revenue process, covering everything from pricing and customer contracts to invoicing, collections and revenue recognition. Its AI agents are designed to take over routine finance tasks. The acquisition comes as usage-based and hybrid pricing models create additional work for finance teams, which must track customer contracts, changing consumption and revenue recognition across multiple systems. "Revenue management has long been the most fragmented workflow in the back office," said Sequence Co-Founder and CEO Riya Grover. The deal would allow Intuit to bring those capabilities into its existing financial software products rather than leaving customers to manage revenue processes across separate applications. Intuit's growing mid-market ambitions. Intuit has been investing in AI-powered financial tools to attract businesses with more complex accounting needs. In August, the company expanded its Intuit Intelligence platform across QuickBooks Online Advanced and Intuit Enterprise Suite, introducing conversational AI tools that help finance teams analyze business data, identify discrepancies and automate accounting workflows. The latest acquisition would extend that automation beyond bookkeeping and reporting into the revenue cycle itself. Intuit targets growth after $12.9B in business revenue. The mid-market push comes against a backdrop of growing business software revenue. Intuit's Global Business Solutions revenue increased 16% year over year to $12.9 billion in fiscal 2026. At its September investor day, the company reaffirmed its fiscal 2027 companywide revenue guidance of $23.28 billion to $23.51 billion, representing 9% to 10% growth. Intuit also expects Global Business Solutions revenue of $13.07 billion to $13.16 billion under its revised reporting structure, which excludes Mailchimp. On Stocktwits, retail investors' sentiment around INTU stock remained in the 'bearish' zone. So far this year, the stock has fallen more than 48%. By comparison, the iShares Expanded Tech-Software Sector ETF (IGV), which holds the stock, has risen nearly 5% over the same period. Intuit to acquire ai-native revenue management platform Sequence.

Intuit to acquire ai-native revenue management platform Sequence. Acquisition strengthens Intuit Enterprise Suite and QuickBooks Online Advanced, expanding Intuit's revenue management offerings for mid-market businesses. Intuit Inc. (Nasdaq: INTU) today announced it has signed an agreement to acquire Sequence, a Series A revenue management company that automates the end-to-end quote-to-revenue process for businesses. The acquisition will extend Intuit's financial system of intelligence with new revenue management capabilities and strengthen its mid-market offerings, including Intuit Enterprise Suite and QuickBooks Online Advanced. Sequence replaces spreadsheets and manual billing workflows with an AI-native revenue management platform. With Sequence, Intuit will give mid-market businesses and the accounting firms who advise them a single platform to price, bill, and collect on revenue tied to consumption, usage, seats, and milestones. Sequence will allow Intuit to serve new industries, including B2B software and professional services, giving businesses a modern alternative to legacy ERPs that still require manual work to manage revenue. "As businesses grow, pricing, billing, and collecting on complex usage-based and milestone-based revenue becomes one of the biggest reasons they choose an ERP," said Ashley Still, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Small Business & Mid-Market Group at Intuit. "Sequence will let us deliver mature revenue management to customers, further extending Intuit Enterprise Suite directly into industries that increasingly leverage AI consumption models like B2B software and professional services. It's a meaningful step forward as we deliver a powerful, AI-native ERP for growing, complex businesses." "Revenue management has long been the most fragmented workflow in the back office. As businesses adopt usage-based and hybrid pricing, that complexity is only growing," said Riya Grover, Co-Founder and CEO of Sequence. "We built Sequence to automate the entire process, from contract to revenue recognition, with AI agents automating daily tasks and working securely alongside finance teams. With Intuit's platform and reach, and our shared alignment on serving mid-market businesses and creating AI-driven financial workflows, this is a natural fit for both companies." Sequence handles revenue automation for some of the fastest growing AI companies in the world today. As part of the acquisition, Intuit will welcome the Sequence team, including Grover, who will join Intuit's Mid-Market product organization. With this acquisition, Intuit gains a complete revenue management platform and AI engineering talent to help it deliver a powerful, AI-native ERP for growing, complex businesses. Intuit will continue to support Sequence's customers and make its capabilities available after the acquisition closes. Intuit will develop an integrated offering in the coming months. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
