Requirements
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Athletic Training is required.
  • BOC Certified Athletic Trainer certification is required.
  • Current state licensure, or the ability to obtain it, is required.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification is required.
  • At least 3 years of athletic training experience is required.
  • The candidate must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • The candidate must be willing and able to travel as required in support of the contract.
  • The role requires knowledge of athletic injury evaluation and treatment, emergency injury response and first aid, therapeutic exercise development, injury prevention programming, rehabilitation support, functional movement screening, clinical documentation, sports medicine and athletic training principles, human performance optimization, orthopedic injuries and rehabilitation, return-to-duty concepts, emergency medical procedures, healthcare regulations, and patient privacy.
  • The candidate must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and communicate and collaborate effectively.
Responsibilities
  • Perform injury evaluations and first-response care.
  • Develop injury prevention programs.
  • Support rehabilitation under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
  • Monitor athlete readiness and recovery.
  • Assist with performance testing and data collection.
  • Coordinate referrals and follow-up care.
  • Maintain documentation and reports.
  • Provide injury prevention, evaluation, emergency care, rehabilitation support, and human performance services to Special Tactics personnel.
Desired Qualifications
  • Military or tactical athlete experience.
  • Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification.
  • Experience with Special Operations or collegiate or professional athletics.
  • Knowledge of human performance optimization.
