Responsibilities
  • Perform credentialing, sanction monitoring, and verification activities for employees, providers, vendors, and other applicable individuals or entities.
  • Manage client credentialing and compliance reporting, ensuring reports are accurate and completed within established or mandated timeframes.
  • Provide client support for credentialing systems, sanction monitoring processes, account access, reporting, and other service-related questions.
  • Guide clients through credentialing and sanction monitoring workflows and troubleshoot issues.
  • Research, identify, and resolve system, data, account, and process-related issues, escalating matters when additional support is required.
  • Respond to client inquiries through phone, email, and other communication channels in a timely and professional manner.
  • Document, track, and monitor client questions, service requests, and issues through resolution.
  • Review account activity and reporting for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established procedures and client requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation supporting credentialing, sanction monitoring, audit, and compliance activities.
  • Communicate identified discrepancies, risks, or unresolved issues to appropriate internal or client stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client issues, improve service delivery, and support effective credentialing operations.
  • Maintain knowledge of credentialing procedures, sanction monitoring requirements, systems, and applicable compliance standards.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, confidentiality requirements, and data security standards.
  • Perform other related duties and support departmental initiatives as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous experience in healthcare, medical billing, claims, provider services, healthcare administration, or a related environment.
  • Experience in healthcare administration, compliance, customer service, provider services, or a related environment.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare terminology and claim information, including ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, revenue codes, billed charges, and other healthcare data elements.
  • Familiarity with healthcare provider information, billing terminology, and common claim documentation.
  • Experience in healthcare cost containment, medical bill review, payment integrity, third-party administration (TPA), health plans, or related healthcare services.

Vālenz Health has appointed Vince Cole as chief executive officer to accelerate growth and guide the company's expansion. Cole brings over 30 years of healthcare and insurance leadership experience. He most recently served as CEO of Ontellus, the nation's largest medical and legal records retrieval business, and previously held CEO roles at Charles Taylor and Crawford & Company.
