About the Company

Behaviour Interactive

Independent game developer and publisher

Behaviour Interactive is a large independent video game developer and publisher with studios in Montreal, Toronto, Seattle, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands. It creates, publishes, and collaborates on games for consoles, PCs, and mobile devices. Its most famous title is Dead by Daylight, a multiplayer horror game that has attracted over 60 million players. The company earns money by selling games, offering subscriptions for ongoing content and updates, and engaging in co-development projects with other gaming partners. Unlike many studios that only develop in-house projects, Behaviour combines original game development with partnerships to build and maintain live-service titles. It also emphasizes community engagement through events and game jams. The goal is to grow as a leading independent developer and publisher, expand successful live-service games, and diversify revenue through multi-platform releases and collaborative projects.
