Docusign launches PDF Editor to streamline document prep and signature workflow

Docusign has launched PDF Editor, a desktop application that integrates document editing capabilities directly into its Intelligent Agreement Management platform. The tool allows users to create and edit PDFs, combine files, redact information, and move documents straight to signature without switching between applications. More than 70% of Docusign eSignature requests begin as PDFs. The new editor aims to eliminate the need to open separate tools for document modifications before signing. PDF Editor preserves an auditable record of changes made before signing and locks editing once documents are signed. After signing, agreements are analysed using AI to track renewals, identify risks, and surface insights. The desktop application will be available for purchase from 2 November 2026 for Intelligent Agreement Management and eSignature customers. It launches in English, Dutch, French, German, Italian, and Spanish, with additional languages planned for 2027.

Ergora vs juro: contract management for small teams.

Ergora vs juro: contract management for small teams. Small businesses often struggle to manage agreements without slowing down revenue. If you are evaluating a dedicated contract lifecycle management platform, you may be looking for a versatile Juro alternative that covers everyday legal workflows alongside the rest of your business. Choosing between a specialist tool and an all-in-one platform comes down to scope. While a dedicated CLM platform manages the whole contract lifecycle across several departments, practical contract management for small business teams prioritises rapid drafting, risk identification, and centralising operational tasks across the entire company. The short answer: who each platform suits best. The core difference between these two platforms lies in their architecture and intended audience: * Juro suits fast-growing businesses where legal, sales, HR, finance and procurement teams all handle contracts. It is a browser-based, AI-native contract lifecycle management platform with self-serve templates, AI-assisted intake and redlining, and e-signature. * Ergora suits small businesses, lean agencies, and founders who want integrated operational intelligence. Alongside dedicated legal workflows, it bundles marketing, PR, sales, and finance tools into a single workspace, removing the need to buy separate specialist subscriptions. For a broader view on how all-in-one tooling contrasts with dedicated legal software, see its comparison of Ergora vs Ironclad for contract management. What Juro does well for fast-growing businesses. Juro is a browser-based, AI-native contract lifecycle management (CLM) platform. It brings self-serve templates, AI-assisted intake and redlining, natural-language contract search and e-signature into one workspace. Key strengths of the platform include: * Browser-based: Juro runs in the browser, so teams create, redline and manage contracts in one place. * Self-serve templates: Teams such as sales and HR can create standard agreements from templates themselves. * AI-assisted contract intake and redlining: AI supports contract intake and redlining, and natural-language contract search makes agreements easier to find. * Built-in e-signature and integrations: Juro includes e-signature and integrates with Salesforce, HubSpot, Slack, DocuSign and Microsoft Word. Juro has quote-based pricing and is built for legal, sales, HR, finance and procurement teams at fast-growing businesses, so it fits best when several departments share contract work. Ergora: legal intelligence and everyday business tools in one platform. Small businesses rarely need a standalone contract lifecycle system. Instead, they need practical contract safeguards paired with tools that move their core commercial operations forward. Ergora's legal tools provide an accessible approach to drafting, scanning, and monitoring agreements, embedded alongside specialists for sales, marketing, PR, and finance. Rather than paying separately for dedicated legal platforms, media databases, and outreach tools, teams manage these operations within a unified workspace. Here is how small teams use the platform day to day: Drafting everyday agreements. The Legal specialist drafts mutual NDAs, consulting contracts, and routine supplier terms directly from plain-language prompts. Teams can use the NDA Generator with its ready mutual NDA template, so they never start from a blank page. Reviewing and scanning incoming contracts. When suppliers or clients send outside contracts, the Contract Scanner reviews uploaded PDF documents or agreements hosted at web links. It flags risky or unusual clauses, and Risk Scorer gives the contract a risk rating. Teams can also use Contract Chat to ask specific questions about obligations or liabilities in the scanned document, and the Legal specialist explains any clause in plain English. Governance and tracking. Small teams must stay organised without hiring full-time legal administrators. Ergora provides practical compliance infrastructure: * Clause Library: Stores pre-approved wording for common terms, helping keep your standard contracts consistent. * Expiring Soon: Flags contracts that need renewing, so you can decide in good time whether to renew or renegotiate. * Compliance checklists: Houses structured frameworks for GDPR, SOC 2, and ISO standards. * DSAR Tracker: Logs data subject access requests and their response deadlines. * Regulatory Tracker: Monitors industry updates to surface relevant legal changes. It is vital to note that Ergora is an AI software platform, not a law firm, and does not provide legal advice. High-stakes, unusual, or heavily contested agreements should always be reviewed by a qualified solicitor. You can learn more about practical risk workflows in its guide to legal AI contract review and compliance. Comparing features: Juro vs Ergora. When weighing Juro vs Ergora, the decision centres on whether you need a dedicated contract lifecycle platform shared across departments or an integrated platform that supports your entire business. | Capability | Juro | Ergora | | Primary focus | Browser-based, AI-native CLM | All-in-one business AI suite | | Contract drafting | Browser-based self-serve templates | Prompt-driven drafting, NDA Generator | | Document review | AI-assisted intake and redlining | Contract Scanner (PDF or web address), Risk Scorer | | Contract analysis | Natural-language contract search | Contract Chat for scanned agreements | | Compliance tools | Not a core focus | GDPR, SOC 2, ISO checklists and DSAR Tracker | | E-signature | Included | Works alongside your existing e-signature tool | | Additional business functions | Not a core focus (integrates with Salesforce, HubSpot, Slack, DocuSign and Word) | Built-in specialists for PR, sales, finance, and marketing | | Pricing structure | Quote-based | Published monthly plans: $99 a month for one seat plus $59 for the Legal pack (50% off the first month) | For organisations assessing dedicated review assistants alongside broader tools, explore its review of Spellbook alternatives for small businesses. Choosing the best Juro alternative for your business. If your company is growing fast and has legal, sales, HR, finance and procurement teams that all handle contracts, Juro's browser-based CLM is built for exactly that. However, most small businesses do not need a dedicated CLM shared across departments. They need to draft standard agreements quickly, spot liabilities in vendor contracts, see which contracts need renewing, and run their wider commercial operations efficiently. By choosing Ergora, your business gets legal review and drafting tools on a published monthly plan ($99 a month for one seat plus $59 for the Legal pack), and can add sales, marketing, PR or finance packs to the same subscription. For lean teams, that makes Ergora the most sensible choice. For important or unusual contracts, keep a qualified lawyer in the loop. Frequently asked questions. What is Juro used for? Huntress targets agentic cybersecurity as revenues rise.

Huntress targets agentic cybersecurity as revenues rise. Docusign integrated signing workflow software wins IDC recognition. 28th September 2026 Analysis by IDC has confirmed Docusign as a global software leader for document workflows, including integrated e-signatures. Allan Thygesen, CEO of Docusign, said being named an IDC MarketScape leader in integrated signing workflow software validated its intelligent agreement management (IAM) offering. "Agreements are the foundation of business. Yet traditional processes leave valuable data locked inside static files," Thygesen said in the announcement. "Our IAM platform empowers organisations to turn agreement friction into tangible ROI and efficiency." Accordingly, vendors including Docusign were included in the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Integrated Signing Workflow Software 2026 Vendor Assessment. Andrew Gens, senior research analyst, document AI and Exchange, IDC, said vendors are expected to provide integrated solutions. Rather than document management with e-signatures layered on top, customers sought to a solution for the entire workflow. As a result, vendors increasingly compete on everything from document and form generation through identity assurance to post-signature life-cycle automation. "The signature itself is no longer where this market is decided," Gens noted. "E-signature has become broadly available and increasingly commoditised. And AI is the engine of that expansion, pulling document processing work that once sat outside the signing platform into the workflow itself." AI for document workflows across tasks and teams. So vendors are looking for much more automation, with buyers too moving toward expanded AI capabilities. Those that pair this new automation with evidence that it can be trusted will lead the market in future, he suggested. Philippe Poutonnet, Docusign vice president of product and customer marketing, said the Docusign IAM platform can help automate the entire contract lifecycle. In addition to AI-powered workflows, it offered routing, review, and contract analysis. "It connects and automates every stage, from intake and contract creation to identity verification, e-signature, and ongoing contract management," he said. As a result, organisations can accelerate deals, reduce risk, and improve productivity. And teams like legal, sales, procurement, and HR can all benefit, he said. Also, Docusign boasted some 1,000 prebuilt integrations, including for Salesforce, SAP, Microsoft, Google, and Coupa, he added.
