Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Must pass a physical lift test of 50 pounds or more.
  • Must possess or be able to pass a background check.
  • Must have current CPR and First Aid certificates; online certificates were accepted during COVID-19.
Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate, empathetic, and professional in-home care to elderly and physically disabled members while maintaining a client-focused approach.
  • Complete daily personal care and light housekeeping tasks in members' homes, including bathing assistance, laundry, bed making, meal preparation, toileting, shopping, and dressing assistance.
  • Use time management and multitasking skills while applying active listening in daily member care.
  • Provide services in accordance with company, federal, and state guidelines.
  • Communicate respectfully with members, family members, and administrative employees.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with teammates, using available resources to serve members' needs.
  • Evaluate circumstances, offer solutions, exercise good judgment, and report emergencies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and avoid discussing members' identifying information outside the company.
