Anduril is a leader in autonomous systems and weapons manufacturing, is building Arsenal-1, its first hyperscale manufacturing facility, just south of Columbus, Ohio in Pickaway County. Arsenal-1 is redefining the scale and speed that autonomous systems and weapons can be produced for the United States and its allies and partners. This is a monumental and essential step toward rebuilding America’s defense industrial base, strengthening America’s warfighting capabilities, and enhancing deterrence amid rising international threats.
ABOUT THE TEAM
We are looking for a Senior Product Quality Engineer to support our Fury autonomous aircraft program at our Arsenal 1 facility in Ashville, OH. This role will be on the Quality Engineering Team and partner directly with the Air Dominance and Strike Team, as well as the broader product development, manufacturing, and field operations organizations. This Quality Engineer will work inside & outside the organization to define, develop, and execute processes that deliver the Fury program and drive Anduril's internal quality management system to meet AS6500 customer requirements. If you are someone who has passion for assuring the quality of cutting-edge aerospace systems, is hands-on with specialized aircraft and test methodologies, and is accountable for results in a high-stakes environment, then this role is for you.
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Anduril builds autonomous weapons, such as drones, cruise missiles, and robot submarines, for the US military and its allies, often developing them with its own money before any order arrives. In 2024 it beat Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and Northrop Grumman for an Air Force contract to develop Fury, a pilotless jet that flies alongside crewed fighters. Its Lattice software merges camera and radar feeds into one live map and lets a few operators direct many drones and weapons at once, including other companies' systems. Governments buy its systems under contract, and Anduril builds much of the hardware in its own factories. Oculus founder Palmer Luckey co-founded Anduril in 2017, and it is based in Costa Mesa, California.
