Requirements
  • A master's-level education and one of the following credentials are required: LCSW, LMSW-CC, LCPC, or LCPC-c.
  • Experience developing successful relationships with vital work partners is required.
  • Comfort and experience with ECR are critical; the role requires daily review of electronically stored clinical documentation.
  • Appropriate licensing or credentialing to meet all MaineCare BHHO Regulations is required.
  • Strong and diverse clinical knowledge is required, including fluency in recovery-oriented service, trauma-informed care, Motivational Interviewing, treatment of co-occurring disorders, and principles of harm reduction.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check, child protective services check, and sex offender check.
  • Must not be on the state or federal suspension and disbarment list.
  • A good driving record is required.
  • Must be able to perform normal office activities including sitting, with occasional standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, typing, and lifting up to 10 pounds.
Responsibilities
  • Work alongside the Director in managing the Children’s Behavioral Health Home, High Fidelity Wraparound Health Home, and Wraparound/Department of Corrections teams.
  • Provide direction to team members supporting the complex mental health needs of children and youth.
  • Supervise Care Coordinators and Case Managers, including clinical oversight of service delivery to clients enrolled in the program.
  • Work with the Program Director in managing all facets of the program.
  • Foster communication and effective relationships with partners that govern and audit program integrity and outcome quality.
  • Facilitate individual and group supervision.
  • Work on implementation projects for the department.
  • Complete client intakes with youth and families.
  • Support staff directly in the field as part of supervision and support.
  • Engage in community building and networking opportunities.
  • Drive to meetings and trainings and occasionally meet with clients offsite within the program service area; this may include transporting clients or driving to an agency location to complete work.
Desired Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of case management experience is preferred.
  • 1–3 years of related supervisory and program management experience is preferred.
  • Experience with integrated healthcare for children is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in electronic data collection and reporting is helpful.
