Requirements

A high school diploma or GED is required.
Basic Life Support certification is preferred and must be obtained within six months of hire if not already held, then maintained.
Employees must be vaccinated or have laboratory-confirmed immunity for measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella, or qualify for an approved exemption where applicable.
Employees must receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.

Responsibilities

Complete clinical and administrative tasks within the clinic alongside Medical Assistants and providers.
Complete required patient-care documentation, including medical histories and referral requests.
Assist with day-to-day clinic operations as required for optimal patient care, including assisting teammates and providers when necessary.

Desired Qualifications

Basic Life Support certification.

Job Description

A Day in the Life

Patient Care Technicians complete clinical and administrative tasks within the clinic. They work alongside the Medical Assistants and Providers to make sure our patients are taken care of, and the clinic runs smoothly!

You will complete required patient care documentation including Medical Histories, referral requests, etc.
You will assist with day-to-day operations as required for optimal patient care which can include assisting fellow teammates and providers when necessary.
As a Patient Care Technician, you will learn the skills and knowledge necessary to work your way up to being a Non-Certified Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant within our clinics! We are committed to helping you build a career here at Munson!
