  • Demonstrated experience delivering solution architecture artifacts that shaped build, buy, or configure decisions or platform investments, with traceable outcomes.
  • Experience leading structured vendor evaluations and proofs of concept, including writing scope documents, defining measurable success criteria, and producing decision-ready recommendations.
  • Deep fluency in integration architecture patterns, data flow modeling, microservices design, and platform-native solution development.
  • Familiarity with data governance and privacy requirements such as GDPR, CCPA, or equivalent, as architectural constraints.
  • Experience designing and shipping commercial or enterprise SaaS/PaaS applications, including platform decisions that affected product roadmaps.
  • Demonstrated experience leading AI or generative AI transformation within a technical practice, changing how the team designs and delivers.
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML integration in enterprise systems, including architecting systems that use AI and understanding its benefits and risks.
  • Experience with ServiceNow platform architecture and products.
  • Experience leading architecture in Agile delivery environments, maintaining architectural integrity under sprint-cycle pressure.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Ability to defend architectural decisions to senior executives under pressure and revise positions based on logic.
  • Ability to articulate how AI reshapes solution architecture and what the team should stop and start doing.
Responsibilities
  • Own solution architecture across the Connected Customer Experience domain, including integration architecture, data flows, platform-native patterns, and microservices design.
  • Produce architecture decision records documenting decisions, rejected alternatives, and rationale so significant design choices are traceable.
  • Lead design reviews and technical assessments using clear criteria and apparent pass/fail standards.
  • Identify systemic risks, bottlenecks, and failure modes before they reach production, and document them in architecture artifacts.
  • Partner with Enterprise Strategy to consume roadmap direction and communicate implementation constraints that affect strategic planning.
  • Lead end-to-end integrations of the Connected Customer Experience platform, from evaluation and assessment through production.
  • Define proof-of-concept scope before vendor engagement, including the business hypothesis, measurable success criteria, constraints, and explicit exclusions.
  • Design proofs of concept to test likely failure assumptions under realistic conditions.
  • Produce decision-ready vendor evaluations, including structured comparisons against criteria, risk assessments, and recommendations with rationale.
  • Maintain a reusable evaluation framework so successive proofs of concept build institutional knowledge.
  • Ensure proof-of-concept documentation enables uninvolved team members to understand what was tested, found, and decided.
  • Align solution design with business requirements across product managers, engineers, and business leaders.
  • Translate complex technical decisions into business-framed options and tradeoffs for senior stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and recommend technology stacks, vendor solutions, and integration strategies with quantified risk and cost assessments.
  • Maintain a working partnership with Enterprise Strategy and surface implementation constraints early enough to shape planning.
  • Lead a global team of Solutions Architects and work with product managers, engineers, and business leaders to define enterprise systems, applications, and platform architecture, technology stacks, and integration points.
  • Work across Connected Customer Experience and Enterprise Architecture to design the overall solution and technical architecture for SNU, the Developer ecosystem, Support, and Success organizations.

Oppenheimer names top software stocks as AI spending shifts from adoption to ROI focus

Oppenheimer analysts say AI in software has moved beyond experimentation, with companies now required to demonstrate measurable returns on investment. AI is becoming a recurring operating expense, with chief financial officers evaluating investments alongside labour costs. The firm says system-of-record vendors and businesses with seat-plus-consumption pricing models are best positioned to benefit. These models offer protection against disruption and the clearest path to AI-driven growth. Oppenheimer's top picks include Microsoft Corporation, citing accelerating platform demand and over $1 billion in AI-related revenue. ServiceNow is highlighted for its exposure to automation and security tailwinds, also exceeding $1 billion in AI revenue. Braze is noted as a system-of-record for customer engagement with durable competitive advantages.
