Stio designs, manufactures, and sells outdoor apparel for men, women, and children, including jackets, pants, shirts, footwear, bags, and accessories for skiing, hiking, and everyday wear. Its products are sold primarily through its website and Mountain Studios retail locations, using a direct-to-consumer model and responsive customer feedback loops to update offerings; the gear emphasizes mountain-ready performance and uses textiles from mills with recycled and repurposed fibers. The company differentiates itself through an authentic Jackson Hole lifestyle identity, hands-on founder involvement, and a strong emphasis on sustainability and customer connection rather than relying mainly on wholesale channels. Stio aims to grow its direct-to-consumer business, expand its presence in mountain and gateway communities, and reach revenue milestones around $100 million while expanding its product line for families.

Stio hires seven regional sales agencies; Costigan named NSM wholesale.

Stio hires seven regional sales agencies; Costigan named NSM wholesale. May 15, 2026 Stio, the outdoor lifestyle brand based in Jackson, Wyoming, appointed seven regional sales agencies across the U.S. to better support its wholesale partners. "This is one of the most important strategic investments we've made in the future of our wholesale business," said Stephen Sullivan, CEO, Stio. "We took the time to identify partners who not only understand the outdoor and ski retail landscape, but who also share our long-term vision for the brand. We're incredibly excited about the team we've assembled and the opportunity ahead." Stio's newly appointed agency partners include: * Northeast: Vert Outdoors * Rockies: Cordillera Sales * South: High Plains Sales and Marketing * West: Three Saints Outdoor * Northwest: Yukon Trading Company * Midwest: Kozy Outdoors * Southeast: The Bunker "These agencies bring exceptional regional expertise, strong retailer relationships, and a high level of professionalism to our wholesale organization," said Alex Brown, vice president of B2B, Stio. "Together, we're building a more scalable and service-oriented sales infrastructure that positions Stio for long-term success in key markets across the country. With more reps in the field, we're excited to double down on retail partner staff education and elevate the consumer experience in the wholesale channel." In conjunction with the expanded wholesale strategy, Stio also promoted Kevin Costigan to national sales manager of wholesale. Costigan, who has been with the brand for five years, played a key role in leading the transition and will oversee continued expansion within the independent specialty retail channel. Stio has retail stores in Jackson and Teton Village, WY; Boulder, Breckenridge, Castle Rock, Steamboat Springs, and Vail, CO; Boise, ID; Freeport, MN; Boston, MA; Bozeman, MT; Bend, OR; Park City, UT, and Stowe, VT.
