About the job

Requirements
  • You have 4–5+ years of experience in solutions engineering or solutions consulting, technical implementation or onboarding, customer enablement with deep product ownership, technical customer success, product operations in a complex SaaS product, or technical, product-focused sales or go-to-market work.
  • You are customer-focused and able to understand user problems and work with users until they are successful.
  • You can communicate and teach complex concepts simply, both in live calls and recorded videos.
  • You enjoy learning how products work, testing different ways to use them, and understanding unexpected product behavior.
  • You are interested in AI-native products and in understanding agents’ capabilities, limitations, configurations, and edge cases.
  • You have technical fluency with systems, data, configuration, debugging, and learning new technical tools.
  • You can thrive in an early-stage environment where processes are still being developed and identify ways to make recurring work easier.
Responsibilities
  • Learn the agents, workflows, configurations, and product surfaces in depth, and develop an understanding of what helps users succeed.
  • Lead onboarding, enablement, and hands-on working sessions to teach users how the product works and how to incorporate it into their sales work.
  • Experiment with and configure agents, prompts, templates, and workflows to understand what works, improve the user experience, and apply proven patterns across customers.
  • Investigate unexpected product behavior, determine whether it is caused by configuration, user behavior, data, or a product issue, resolve what can be handled, and escalate issues requiring deeper engineering work.
  • Identify recurring friction, emerging use cases, and patterns in user interactions, and share those findings with Product and Engineering.
  • Turn recurring questions and successful approaches into guides, onboarding materials, and repeatable playbooks.
  • Learn new features and help customers adopt them quickly.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience selling to or working within modern go-to-market teams is a plus.

About the company

Actively AI builds AI-driven outbound automation tools for GTM teams. Its platform uses AI agents to find the right prospects, decide the best timing, and craft effective outreach, helping sales teams improve pipeline quality and volume. The product operates as a subscription service with tiered plans based on users or service level, charging ongoing fees for access to its AI-driven platform. It differentiates itself by targeting sales and marketing teams with autonomous AI agents that optimize outbound activities, leading to higher sales qualified opportunities and more meetings with fewer resources. The company aims to help go-to-market teams scale their outreach, increase pipeline value, and book more meetings by applying AI to each step of the outbound process.

What believers are saying

  • Actively raised $45 million Series B on April 28, 2026, led by TCV.
  • Samsara deployed it across 1,000-plus GTM users and reported 2x outreach conversion.
  • Actively names Ramp, Verkada, Attentive, and Ironclad as customers, strengthening reference-selling.

What critics are saying

  • Salesforce Agentforce, 6sense, and Apollo bundle similar automation into existing customer stacks.
  • Actively's reported customer wins come from company-controlled metrics, not independently audited benchmarks.
  • If enterprise buyers standardize on CRM-native AI, Actively becomes a feature, not a company.

What makes Actively AI unique

  • Founded by Stanford AI researchers Mihir Garimella and Anshul Gupta in 2022.
  • Per-account agents run 24/7, replacing batch sequences with account-specific reasoning.

₹2,000+ crore AI startup pushes autonomous sales agents to compete with Salesforce.

₹2,000+ crore AI startup pushes autonomous sales agents to compete with Salesforce. Last updated: April 30, 2026 8:50 am A fast-growing artificial intelligence startup, Actively AI, is positioning itself as a challenger to enterprise software giant Salesforce by deploying AI-powered sales agents designed to automate core sales workflows. The company has raised $45 million (approximately ₹375 crore) in fresh funding, bringing its valuation to approximately $250 million (around ₹2,080 crore), as it seeks to scale its technology and expand enterprise adoption. Actively AI is developing autonomous AI agents that can perform tasks traditionally handled by human sales representatives. These include prospecting, outreach, and workflow management - functions that typically require continuous manual intervention. The startup's approach is rooted in addressing inefficiencies in modern sales stacks, where teams rely on multiple tools such as customer relationship management systems, sequencing platforms, and analytics dashboards. Despite these tools, progress often depends on human effort to move deals forward. AI agents, in contrast, are designed to operate continuously, executing tasks without requiring constant human input, reflecting a broader industry shift toward autonomous enterprise software. Funding boost to accelerate growth. The company recently secured $45 million in funding to scale its AI sales agents and expand its product capabilities. This investment supports hiring, product development, and go-to-market expansion as the startup seeks to compete in a crowded enterprise software market. The funding round underscores growing investor interest in AI-driven automation platforms, particularly those targeting high-value enterprise functions such as sales and customer management. Competitive pressure on legacy CRM platforms. Actively AI's model directly challenges traditional customer relationship management platforms such as Salesforce, which have long dominated enterprise sales operations. Legacy systems typically function as systems of record, requiring users to input and manage data manually. In contrast, AI agent-based platforms aim to act as systems of action - actively executing workflows rather than simply tracking them. This shift could redefine how enterprises manage sales processes, reducing reliance on large sales teams while increasing automation and efficiency. Rising adoption of autonomous enterprise AI. The emergence of startups like Actively AI reflects a broader trend toward "agentic" AI - systems capable of independently planning and executing multi-step tasks. These systems go beyond chat-based interfaces, enabling real-time decision-making and operational execution within enterprise environments. As businesses increasingly adopt such technologies, competition in the enterprise AI space is intensifying, with both startups and established players investing heavily in automation-driven solutions. Actively AI raises $45M at $250M valuation to challenge Salesforce with autonomous sales agents

Actively AI has raised $45 million in a Series B round co-led by TCV and First Harmonic at a $250 million valuation, bringing total funding to $67.5 million. The New York startup is challenging Salesforce with AI agents that automate sales work traditionally done manually. Actively creates a custom AI agent for each account to conduct research, draft outreach, build presentations and suggest next steps. Early customers report significant results: fintech firm Ramp attributes tens of millions in new revenue to the platform, whilst security startup Verkada said it doubled sales productivity. The company integrates directly into existing tools including Salesforce, email and Slack. Co-founders Mihir Garimella and Anshul Gupta, both 26, argue Salesforce faces an innovator's dilemma by adding AI to software designed for manual data entry rather than building for an agent-first world.
