About the job
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Foundational programming knowledge in an object-oriented or modern language such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript, plus a working understanding of data structures, algorithms, and version control with Git.
- Ability to work full-time for the duration of the 8-week summer program in a hybrid model based out of Nashville or Richmond.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the enthusiasm to ask questions and learn rapidly.
- Write clean, well-documented, well-tested code as part of a delivery team working on an active client engagement.
- Gain practical experience with modern development stacks, cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and DevOps tools.
- Participate in code reviews and pair with Consultants, applying feedback to improve engineering skills.
- Help debug, refactor, and document existing systems, and contribute to data models and integrations where the project calls for it.
- Research emerging technologies and best practices relevant to the project and apply academic knowledge in a professional setting.
- Exposure to relational databases and SQL, REST APIs, or cloud services.
- Passion for technology consulting and a proactive, ownership-oriented mindset.
