About the job
- At least three years of experience in project analysis, billing, project controls, or operational finance with MTMD.
- Strong proficiency in Excel for financial data analysis.
- Careful and accurate entry, validation, and verification of data.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
- Experience with budget monitoring, variance analysis, and project profitability management.
- Fluency in spoken and written French.
- Set up and maintain projects in BST in accordance with MTMD contractual requirements to enable timesheet and expense entry and project billing.
- Prepare draft invoices according to MTMD contract terms, coordinate validation with project managers, verify supporting documentation, and issue final invoices within required deadlines.
- Provide financial analyses for active projects, including budget variances, work in progress, revenue recognition, project-end forecasts, and backlog monitoring.
- Carry out the monthly billing cycle, including submitting draft invoices, creating and updating projects, validating budgets, following up on outstanding actions, finalizing invoices, supporting pending files, reviewing work in progress and budget variances, preparing forecasts, billing fixed fees, validating contractual deliverables, and updating work in progress.
- Ensure compliance with MTMD administrative, contractual, and financial requirements for billing, supporting documentation, budgets, and project monitoring.
- Create and maintain reference guides and process documentation for MTMD projects, billing, and financial best practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial and billing processes to increase efficiency, data quality, and processing speed.
- English language skills are an asset.
- Knowledge of BST or a similar project management system is an asset.
- Experience with government or para-public contracts is an important asset.
