Requirements
  • A completed degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Several years of experience as a Product Owner in HR technology, People Applications, or digital transformation.
  • Strong practical experience with Workday and familiarity with complex, integrated People Applications landscapes.
  • Understanding of end-to-end People processes and their representation in applications, integrations, and data models.
  • Proficiency in agile product management methods and the ability to evaluate and prioritize requirements economically and translate them into an actionable roadmap.
  • Strategic thinking combined with a strong understanding of the operational management of business-critical applications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with business departments, technical teams, vendors, and senior stakeholders in German and English.
Responsibilities
  • Own the integrated People Applications landscape, including Workday, SAP HCM, and other connected systems in existing markets, and ensure stable and reliable operations.
  • Own the product vision, portfolio roadmap, and backlog; prioritize requirements based on business value, customer value, risks, and available capacity; and integrate the needs of additional markets into a scalable development plan.
  • Establish a transparent intake and decision-making process and coordinate requirements with People, Digital, IT, markets, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage incidents, service requests, and functional escalations together with the team, software vendors, and other partners.
  • Digitize and standardize end-to-end People processes and advance self-services, automation, and suitable artificial intelligence use cases.
  • Manage releases, adoption, and the continuous development of the portfolio, and make product success transparent using suitable key performance indicators.
  • Ensure viable solutions for integrations, data, permissions, security, and payroll-relevant processes together with technical experts.
  • Manage software vendors and external partners from a functional perspective and prepare budget, performance, and contract decisions in close coordination with the Team Lead.
  • Develop reusable process and application standards that can be scaled to additional markets and brands together with the Team Lead and the team.
