- A Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program is required.
- A current Georgia Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license and national board certification are required.
- Basic Life Support certification is required.
- The ability to obtain Northside Hospital credentialing and privileges is required.
- A Master's Degree in Nursing is listed under qualifications.
- Certifications and credentialing applicable to the position must meet the Medical Staff Guidelines.
- Perform history and physical examinations and carry out appropriate interventions and procedures as determined by the plan of care.
- Coordinate care of assigned patients according to Northside Hospital established Standards of Care.
- One or more years of inpatient neurology, hospital medicine, critical care, emergency medicine, or acute care experience is preferred.
- Stroke or neuroscience experience is preferred.
- Experience caring for medically complex hospitalized patients is preferred.
- One year of experience is preferred.
