An MD or DO from an accredited institution is required.
Completion of an anesthesiology residency is required.
Candidates must be board eligible or board certified.
Candidates must hold current medical licensure.
ECFMG or FLEX documentation is required if applicable.
Candidates must provide Articles of Incorporation for either an S Corporation or C Corporation.
Candidates must provide their own malpractice insurance coverage for full state limits.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures.
Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent.
Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients.
Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
Monitor the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed.
Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.

Position Requirements

Description
Looking for 1099/IC anesthesiologists to join Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville, NC. Founded in 1935, the not-for-profit Columbus Regional Healthcare System (CRHS) started as a 12-bed hospital in a Victorian home in Whiteville. Today, the modern 154-bed facility of CRHS is known for its skilled and dedicated medical providers, who represent a range of specialties. Our group consists of four anesthesiologists and seven CRNAs who work together in a care team model. Our care team model means that we focus on giving everyone a voice, while supporting, respecting, and helping them to deliver care excellence.

Total Rewards
Hourly Rate: $300/hour

Case Assignments
• General, peds, vascular, robotic, urologic, orthopedic, and gynecologic surgery

Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
