About the job

Requirements
  • Ability to translate complex model output, including marketing mix modeling curves, channel mix tradeoffs, and marginal return on investment, into clear channel-level direction and executive-ready written and verbal narratives.
  • Ability to own and drive recurring analytics, finance, channel reporting, guidance, and senior leadership forums, including setting agendas, anticipating questions, and proposing and defending strategic recommendations.
  • Ability to form and influence data-backed recommendations.
  • Proven ability to build durable, high-trust partnerships with Data Science and Finance and align functions with different incentives and definitions of success to a shared investment view.
  • Ability to manage up and across a matrixed organization without formal authority over dependent teams.
  • Ability to represent Paid Media's interests in cross-functional forums and instill confidence.
  • Deep working knowledge of integrated media spanning search, programmatic and digital media, social, video, streaming, and above-the-line channels, including how investment shifts in one channel affect another.
  • Experience managing a large media investment envelope, including forecasting, in-season reallocation, marginal curve analysis, and defending spend decisions with data.
  • Understanding of how search, digital media, and above-the-line agency partners operationalize channel mix decisions.
  • Interest in helping design and build a system in an evolving AI-led media environment.
  • Comfort defining architecture and processes amid ambiguity in close partnership with Paid Media and go-to-market leadership.
  • Seven to ten years of experience in paid media investment strategy, marketing analytics, or a related quantitative marketing role, ideally in a high-investment, performance-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with Data Science and/or Finance on investment or resource allocation decisions.
  • Direct experience with marketing mix modeling and the ability to translate model output into a business recommendation.
  • Track record of owning and presenting to senior leadership on a recurring basis, with executive presence and the ability to defend recommendations under questioning.
  • Working knowledge of integrated media, including search, programmatic and digital, social, video and streaming, and above-the-line channels, and how they interact.
  • Experience managing or directly influencing a large media investment envelope, including forecasting and in-season reallocation.
  • Comfort working with data infrastructure teams, such as Databricks or equivalent, to define architecture requirements, without needing to be a hands-on engineer.
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills to lead cross-functional and cross-agency initiatives in a highly matrixed, fast-moving environment.
  • A BA or BS degree is required.
Responsibilities
  • Own the operating partnership with Data Science and Finance on investment decisions and channel mix, translating marketing mix modeling output, incrementality findings, and marketplace signals into a shared view on investment allocation.
  • Connect quantitative models with media strategy, ensuring model recommendations account for real-world channel, creative, and seasonal dynamics.
  • Build and maintain the recurring cadence, documentation, and decision log governing investment decisions and their review across the fiscal year.
  • Partner with Finance on forecast accuracy, in-season reallocation, and tradeoffs between committed and flexible spend.
  • Own and drive the weekly senior leadership investment review by setting the agenda, structuring the narrative, and presenting channel- and envelope-level performance, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Distill model output and channel results into clear, decision-ready recommendations.
  • Track and communicate key investment metrics, including ITPY, marginal return on investment, and impression share, across channels, and escalate in-season risks or opportunities.
  • Build trust with senior leadership as a credible, consistent source on business performance and recommended actions.
  • Partner with the Measurement & Intelligent Decision Architecture team to build the Central Decision Engine, a unified layer that synthesizes marketing mix modeling, platform data, incrementality, and attribution into an investment decision source.
  • Support architecture that integrates Recast outputs, DMA-level modeling, and channel-level performance signals into one actionable interface, replacing the current reporting and decision structure.
  • Work with Data Innovation and Analytics teams to ensure data infrastructure supports always-on, model-driven guidance.
  • Contribute to standards and documentation that make the Central Decision Engine durable and scalable for the 1-3 vision.
  • Connect the Intelligent Decisioning focus area to adjacent FY27 workstreams, including data signal architecture, creative decisioning, and AI channel operations.
  • Translate channel mix recommendations from model output into executable plans by working with search, digital media, communications, above-the-line teams, and agency partners.
  • Monitor marginal return on investment and impression share by channel, identify over- or under-investment, and propose reallocations.
  • Account for cross-channel effects, such as above-the-line impact on search and streaming/video contribution to full-funnel performance, in mix recommendations.
  • Refine the investment decisioning process to reduce the time from signal to decision and from decision to execution.
  • Stay current on marketing mix modeling, measurement, and marketing AI developments and bring an informed view on evolving the decisioning architecture.
  • Document decisions, assumptions, and model changes so the Central Decision Engine remains auditable and defensible over time.

Intuit shares fall 50% but $8.6B free cash flow and 81% gross margin fuel rebound case

Intuit's shares have fallen more than 50% over the past year, but a bullish thesis argues the financial software maker is now cheap. The stock traded at $335.61 on October 21, 2026, with a forward price-to-earnings ratio of 12.66, against 28.90 a year earlier. Intuit, which owns QuickBooks, TurboTax, Credit Karma, and Mailchimp, posted $21.4 billion in revenue over the past twelve months, up 13.9%. Its gross margin is about 81%, and fiscal 2026 free cash flow was about $8.6 billion. The company is cutting about 17% of its workforce, roughly 3,000 jobs, to fund AI development. Risks include slower do-it-yourself tax growth, shareholder lawsuits, and lenders pulling back from Credit Karma. The average analyst price target of $405.60 implies about 26% upside from $321.57. Hedge fund holders rose to 98 from 92 in the second quarter.

Intuit (INTU) is expanding its artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities with a deal to acquire Sequence, a startup that automates billing, contracts and revenue recognition for businesses. The acquisition, announced Thursday, will add new capabilities to QuickBooks Online Advanced and Intuit Enterprise Suite as the company looks to capture a larger share of the mid-market financial software business. Financial terms were not disclosed. At the time of this writing, INTU stock traded up more than 4%. What Sequence brings to Intuit. Sequence's platform automates the quote-to-revenue process, covering everything from pricing and customer contracts to invoicing, collections and revenue recognition. Its AI agents are designed to take over routine finance tasks. The acquisition comes as usage-based and hybrid pricing models create additional work for finance teams, which must track customer contracts, changing consumption and revenue recognition across multiple systems. "Revenue management has long been the most fragmented workflow in the back office," said Sequence Co-Founder and CEO Riya Grover. The deal would allow Intuit to bring those capabilities into its existing financial software products rather than leaving customers to manage revenue processes across separate applications. Intuit's growing mid-market ambitions. Intuit has been investing in AI-powered financial tools to attract businesses with more complex accounting needs. In August, the company expanded its Intuit Intelligence platform across QuickBooks Online Advanced and Intuit Enterprise Suite, introducing conversational AI tools that help finance teams analyze business data, identify discrepancies and automate accounting workflows. The latest acquisition would extend that automation beyond bookkeeping and reporting into the revenue cycle itself. Intuit targets growth after $12.9B in business revenue. The mid-market push comes against a backdrop of growing business software revenue. Intuit's Global Business Solutions revenue increased 16% year over year to $12.9 billion in fiscal 2026. At its September investor day, the company reaffirmed its fiscal 2027 companywide revenue guidance of $23.28 billion to $23.51 billion, representing 9% to 10% growth. Intuit also expects Global Business Solutions revenue of $13.07 billion to $13.16 billion under its revised reporting structure, which excludes Mailchimp. On Stocktwits, retail investors' sentiment around INTU stock remained in the 'bearish' zone. So far this year, the stock has fallen more than 48%. By comparison, the iShares Expanded Tech-Software Sector ETF (IGV), which holds the stock, has risen nearly 5% over the same period. Intuit to acquire ai-native revenue management platform Sequence.

Intuit to acquire ai-native revenue management platform Sequence. Acquisition strengthens Intuit Enterprise Suite and QuickBooks Online Advanced, expanding Intuit's revenue management offerings for mid-market businesses. Intuit Inc. (Nasdaq: INTU) today announced it has signed an agreement to acquire Sequence, a Series A revenue management company that automates the end-to-end quote-to-revenue process for businesses. The acquisition will extend Intuit's financial system of intelligence with new revenue management capabilities and strengthen its mid-market offerings, including Intuit Enterprise Suite and QuickBooks Online Advanced. Sequence replaces spreadsheets and manual billing workflows with an AI-native revenue management platform. With Sequence, Intuit will give mid-market businesses and the accounting firms who advise them a single platform to price, bill, and collect on revenue tied to consumption, usage, seats, and milestones. Sequence will allow Intuit to serve new industries, including B2B software and professional services, giving businesses a modern alternative to legacy ERPs that still require manual work to manage revenue. "As businesses grow, pricing, billing, and collecting on complex usage-based and milestone-based revenue becomes one of the biggest reasons they choose an ERP," said Ashley Still, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Small Business & Mid-Market Group at Intuit. "Sequence will let us deliver mature revenue management to customers, further extending Intuit Enterprise Suite directly into industries that increasingly leverage AI consumption models like B2B software and professional services. It's a meaningful step forward as we deliver a powerful, AI-native ERP for growing, complex businesses." "Revenue management has long been the most fragmented workflow in the back office. As businesses adopt usage-based and hybrid pricing, that complexity is only growing," said Riya Grover, Co-Founder and CEO of Sequence. "We built Sequence to automate the entire process, from contract to revenue recognition, with AI agents automating daily tasks and working securely alongside finance teams. With Intuit's platform and reach, and our shared alignment on serving mid-market businesses and creating AI-driven financial workflows, this is a natural fit for both companies." Sequence handles revenue automation for some of the fastest growing AI companies in the world today. As part of the acquisition, Intuit will welcome the Sequence team, including Grover, who will join Intuit's Mid-Market product organization. With this acquisition, Intuit gains a complete revenue management platform and AI engineering talent to help it deliver a powerful, AI-native ERP for growing, complex businesses. Intuit will continue to support Sequence's customers and make its capabilities available after the acquisition closes. Intuit will develop an integrated offering in the coming months. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
