About the job
- A completed vocational qualification in electrical engineering with further training as an electrical master or technician, or an electrical engineering degree with relevant practical experience.
- Trainer aptitude under AEVO and professional suitability to assume the responsible electrical specialist (VEFK) function.
- Several years of practical experience in industrial electrical installation or plant manufacturing; experience with measurement, control, and instrumentation technology is ideal.
- Practical experience with electrical inspections, inspection records, and safety measures.
- Applicable ATEX knowledge from industrial plant construction or a comparable process environment.
- Experience guiding employees professionally, coordinating tasks, and ensuring work quality.
- A structured approach to safety and quality risks and willingness to enforce required measures consistently.
- Good German language skills for technical coordination, safety briefings, and inspection documentation.
- Lead the electrical team technically and disciplinarily, assign tasks, and monitor work progress.
- Organize and oversee the safe, competent, and timely electrical installation of the company's plants.
- Assume the responsible electrical specialist (VEFK) function within the assigned area of responsibility.
- Organize, conduct, and evaluate electrical inspections under DGUV Vorschrift 3 and applicable standards DIN VDE 0100-600 and DIN EN 60204-1.
- Ensure complete and traceable inspection records.
- Monitor ATEX-compliant installations and account for functional safety requirements within the assigned area of responsibility.
- Supervise apprentices in electrical engineering, measurement and control technology, and plant construction, and support their exam preparation.
- Work with electrical design, commissioning, and project teams on technical clarifications, type testing, and acceptance testing.
- Use ERP and Microsoft 365 for business processes.
- Experience with SIL or DIN EN 61511.
- English language skills.
