- Certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the State of New Jersey is required.
- A Master's Degree in Nursing is required.
- Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the State of New Jersey is required.
- At least two years of related nursing experience is required.
- Basic Life Support certification and Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification are required.
- Provide primary care for high-risk newborn infants in the Mother-Baby Unit, Neonatal Intensive Care Units, FICN and FIN Nurseries, and Labor and Delivery areas in accordance with hospital objectives, policies and procedures and the New Jersey State Advanced Nurse Practice Act.
- Participate under the administrative and clinical direction of the Director of the Neonatology Program.
- Work collaboratively with the Attending Neonatologist, Nurse Manager, nursing staff, healthcare providers, and multidisciplinary team members.
- Collaborate with community agencies, including DCP&P and community nursing services.
- Meet performance standards measured by the Director of Neonatology in collaboration with the Chief Advanced Practice Nurse of the hospital.
