Requirements
  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in lifecycle or customer relationship management operations at a direct-to-consumer or ecommerce brand, working directly from marketing briefs.
  • Deep working knowledge of Klaviyo, including flows, segments, templates, and integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with Shopify and Recharge, including subscription data behavior and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with an SMS platform; Postscript is preferred, while Attentive, Klaviyo SMS, or similar platforms are considered.
  • Technical proficiency with HTML, CSS for email, and templating logic such as Liquid or similar; ability to read, write, and debug dynamic content and personalization rules.
  • Experience partnering with developers or data teams on integrations, event tracking, and troubleshooting, including reading API documentation, testing endpoints, and reasoning about webhook payloads.
  • Solid understanding of experiment design, including control versus test groups, holdouts, key metrics, bias avoidance, and practical constraints in a live sending program.
  • Ability to manage multiple builds in parallel with clear prioritization and communication, and to communicate realistic scope before committing.
Responsibilities
  • Translate lifecycle briefs, journey maps, and campaign strategy into robust, tested, live flows in Klaviyo and Postscript.
  • Interrogate briefs before building and surface gaps involving customers already in a flow, active subscribers, recent sends, and customers with no order history.
  • Identify when a requested implementation is not buildable as written and provide a feasible version or define the work required to make it possible.
  • Configure triggers, filters, conditional splits, profile property conditions, wait timing, smart sending, and suppression.
  • Coordinate email and SMS so channels complement rather than collide, and build guardrails and governance for consistent sending rules.
  • Own the technical health of Klaviyo, Postscript, Shopify, and Recharge, including integration stability, data governance, and durable documentation.
  • Own tracking end to end by verifying that Shopify, Recharge, and on-site events reach Klaviyo with the correct properties, profile, and timing.
  • Make new event data capturable when Marketing needs to trigger on information that is not currently collected.
  • Configure and troubleshoot webhooks, API-driven events, custom metrics, and profile properties.
  • Maintain source-of-truth definitions for events, attributes, and segments used by the retention program.
  • Build reusable systems such as modular templates, universal content blocks, and dynamic content logic to improve operational efficiency.
  • Lead evaluation and onboarding of new capabilities while assessing impact versus complexity.
  • Own pre-send quality assurance for every email and SMS build, including dynamic content, personalization edge cases, link and UTM accuracy, alt text, dark mode, mobile behavior, and rendering across major inbox clients.
  • Quality-assure landing pages for form and popup behavior, consent capture, list assignment, redirects, mobile rendering, and tracking functionality.
  • Quality-assure product and subscription configuration, including variants, selling plans, discount and bundle logic, Recharge subscription rules, one-time versus recurring behavior, and swap or upsell flows.
  • Operationalize A/B tests end to end, including audience configuration, randomization, holdouts, and measurable instrumentation.
  • Help define experiment frameworks covering success metrics, sample sizes, and timelines, and ensure technically sound implementation.
  • Monitor flow health, delivery, and errors proactively.
  • Identify and fix silent failures involving stopped events, changed properties, duplicate or misidentified profiles, and desynchronized integrations.
  • Monitor bounce and complaint rates, list growth quality, suppression hygiene, sunset logic, authentication, and sending-domain configuration.
  • Own lifecycle operations reporting for flow health, delivery and error monitoring, and experiment status.
  • Consolidate or retire journeys that add operational complexity without producing sufficient return.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Postscript as the SMS platform.

Ryze Superfoods makes a coffee blend infused with adaptogenic mushrooms such as Cordyceps, Lion’s Mane, Reishi, Shiitake, Turkey Tail, and King Trumpet, combined with organic Arabica coffee, MCT oil, and coconut milk.
