Fund Administration Associate
About the job
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or another business-related field.
- Two to five years of accounting and operations experience focused on private equity fund administration and operations.
- Ability to apply innovative technology to operational work.
- Ability to multitask and work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

- Define, implement, and maintain processes and procedures for servicing private equity feeder and multi-manager funds.
- Partner with product and technology teams to enhance and automate operational processes and develop and enhance product, management, and other reporting for efficiency and scale.
- Participate in new fund structuring and set up and onboard new products with administrators and custodians.
- Provide operational oversight for servicing private equity funds in conjunction with a third-party administrator.
- Provide oversight of fund administrators and service providers, including auditors, tax service providers, and custodians.
- Manage fund accounting and financial reporting to investors, including RIA and DTCC position reporting.
- Follow procedures for subscriptions, redemptions, capital calls, and distributions.
- Oversee quarterly and annual reporting to investors, their advisors, and custodians through the proprietary reporting platform.
- Liaise with custodians and other counterparties as needed.
- Work with counsel and the Chief Compliance Officer to resolve fund administration issues and ensure compliance with fund documents, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.
- Monitor fund cash positions and reconciliations and manage cash reserves.
- Run the accounts payable and expense allocation process.
- Oversee annual financial audits and tax deliverables.
- Perform ad hoc activities as required by different parts of the organization.
- Experience with feeder and multi-manager funds.
- Certified Public Accountant or another accounting designation.
- Understanding of product management processes.
