Project Manager - SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Public Edition
About the job
- A completed degree in business administration, business informatics, or computer science, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 6 years of experience in traditional SAP project business and a Project Management Professional certification or equivalent.
- Initial project management experience in SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Public Edition; the corresponding certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of common consulting and project management methods and tools, especially in the SAP environment, including SAP Activate for S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations and Cloud ALM.
- Familiarity with agile project approaches such as Scrum, ideally with experience applying them in projects.
- Presentation skills, negotiation skills, process knowledge, industry knowledge such as manufacturing or automotive, communication skills, customer orientation, and experience in contract design.
- Fluent German and English suitable for negotiations.
- Initiative, decision-making ability, results orientation, organizational skills, assertiveness, and teamwork.
- Willingness to travel.
- Take commercial responsibility for the functional leadership of large SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Public Edition projects and support customers in introducing SAP standard processes and best practices.
- Functionally lead project teams or subprojects in a multiproject environment.
- Ensure project goals are achieved within time, budget, and quality requirements, and be accountable for project success and customer satisfaction.
- Plan and lead projects, manage resources, monitor progress, prepare status reports, and review and continuously monitor defined project metrics throughout all project phases.
- Document project results and experience, conduct project reviews, and capture lessons learned at project completion.
- Coach project participants in applying project management processes and methods.
- Support customer acquisition and presales activities, including proposal preparation, sales pitches, tenders, and trade fairs.
- Continuously expand subject-matter knowledge, train junior colleagues, and contribute to organizational knowledge transfer.
- Certification in SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Public Edition.
- Experience applying agile project approaches such as Scrum in projects.
- Industry knowledge such as manufacturing or automotive.
