KickUp provides a data analytics and professional development platform for K-12 school districts. It helps educational leaders, teachers, and administrators use data to improve student outcomes by offering tools for data analytics, reporting, and professional development tracking. The product is delivered via a subscription-based service to school districts, with possible add-on services such as consulting and training. Unlike some peers that focus only on data or PD separately, KickUp combines data insights, actionable reporting, and PD progress tracking in one platform, aiming to make data-informed decision-making practical in district operations. The company’s goal is to enable districts to make informed instructional and operational decisions that improve student outcomes through continuous data-driven improvement.

Achieve Partners invests in KickUp platform used by 300K+ educators to improve professional development outcomes

Achieve Partners has made a strategic investment in KickUp, a professional development platform used by over 300,000 educators across the US. Founded in 2014 by former teachers, KickUp helps school districts integrate three traditionally siloed areas: professional learning management, instructional coaching, and teacher evaluation. The platform addresses a persistent challenge in K-12 education, where districts spend billions annually on professional development with little evidence of classroom impact. KickUp operates in more than 35 states, serving districts ranging from small rural systems to large urban ones. This autumn, the company will launch an intelligence tool using its proprietary dataset to help instructional leaders deliver more efficient feedback to teachers. The investment comes as educator training faces budget pressures, making effective professional development spend increasingly critical.
