SeatGeek runs a ticket marketplace for sports, concerts, and theater, alongside box-office software for teams, venues, and event organizers. Its consumer platform brings tickets from event partners and resellers into one place, with interactive seating maps and photos that show the view before a purchase. Fans buy, sell, transfer, and manage tickets through its website and mobile apps, while organizers use its enterprise tools to sell inventory and understand their audiences. The business earns service fees on ticket transactions and sells ticketing technology to event partners. SeatGeek was founded in 2009 and is headquartered in New York City.
