Herald offers a digital infrastructure platform for the commercial insurance market. It provides a single API through which insurance companies and their partners can quote and bind policies from more than sixty carriers, reducing the time to market for new products. The API comes with extensive documentation and support, helping clients integrate quickly and focus on improving customer experiences. Herald also helps clients connect to digital-distribution sources and add new partners without long implementation efforts, offering insights into the distribution ecosystem. Revenue comes from charging clients for API access and related services. Unlike providers that sell standalone workflow solutions, Herald supplies the infrastructure that carriers and partners use to deliver insurance experiences to customers. Overall, Herald’s goal is to simplify multi-carrier integration, enable embedded insurance experiences, and expand digital distribution in the commercial insurance space.
