Responsibilities
  • Executes, aligned with global and regional strategies, all responsibilities regarding underwriting, including adoption of leading practices in credit analysis, underwriting, and monitoring, including end-to-end underwriting from early origination discussions to development of credit approval memos
  • Drafting of Credit Approval Memo (CAM) packages ensuring they are complete and accurate
  • Conducting initial financial analysis, due diligence, projection modeling, stress testing, risk ratings and other in-depth analysis
  • Support relationships with key stakeholders in Banking and Risk and with key Regulators, Internal Audit, and control functions
  • Support ICM Underwriting organization on strategic initiatives / projects as required
  • Owns the Credit Risk Analysis for a portfolio across India/Sri Lanka/Bangladesh and responsible for continuous monitoring
  • Production of annual reviews, quarterly reviews, and the support of ad-hoc transactions and portfolio & industry reviews and stress testing in partnership with Banking and Risk

Coinbase and Citi link bank rails to stablecoin payments for merchants

Coinbase Global and Citi have launched new features linking the bank's payment systems with Coinbase's stablecoin infrastructure. Citi's Virtual Account Wallet for Coinbase will automatically convert client fiat balances into stablecoins and convert incoming stablecoins back into fiat. Merchants using Citi's Spring platform can now accept stablecoin payments whilst keeping settlement within Citi's regulated banking system. The partnership supports Coinbase's strategy to reduce reliance on trading fees by expanding subscription and service revenue, including payments infrastructure and custody services. Citi and Coinbase enable stablecoin-to-fiat conversion for merchants and businesses

Citi and Coinbase have expanded their partnership to bridge traditional banking and digital payments.
