- Must possess one of the following: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification, Registered Electrophysiology Specialist certification, IBHRE certification, Certified Electrophysiology Specialist certification, or prior applicable training or experience in invasive cardiology or electrophysiology.
- Must hold Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
- Must hold Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
- Must have thorough knowledge of cardiac arrhythmia interpretation.
- Must obtain advanced specialty certification within two years of the hire date.
- Assist physicians during electrophysiology procedures, pacemaker and implantable cardioverter-defibrillator insertions, radiofrequency ablation, and other miscellaneous procedures by operating the electrophysiology recorder, hemodynamic monitoring computer, and/or scrubbing for invasive cardiac and vascular procedures.
- Provide patient care to adult and geriatric patients.
