Under its Roblox Everywhere initiative, creators will soon have the option to make their games available as standalone applications across mobile devices, PCs and consoles, while Roblox will provide the underlying technology and services. The company is also preparing to introduce browser-based gaming, allowing players to access games directly through Chrome from an Experience Details Page without downloading the Roblox application. Additional browsers are expected to be supported subsequently. Roblox is further expanding gameplay options with support for offline modes, allowing creators to combine online and offline experiences within the same game. The new features include an orthographic camera, animated image containers and direct sprite-sheet import. A new notification system is designed to support turn-based and asynchronous multiplayer games. To enhance social interaction, Roblox is introducing a Friends chat tab, allowing players to stay connected across different games and coordinate with friends. The company has also introduced voice typing, enabling players to communicate through voice while playing. AI tools aim to simplify game creation. Roblox is expanding its use of artificial intelligence to support game creation through a dedicated AI creation layer. The Build tab, which enables users to create and publish games through prompts, is expanding to public alpha in Serbia and Singapore following its earlier launch in New Zealand. According to Roblox, creators have already used Build to publish approximately 9,000 games, while 71% of the thousands of users who created games using Build had not previously used Roblox Studio. The new Roblox Wallet is designed to provide eligible creators with a financial account that supports direct earnings in real currency, automatic payments on business days and transfers to other Roblox accounts or external accounts. Roblox Wallet is expected to launch later this year for eligible independent creators in the United States who are aged 18 and above, with international expansion planned for next year. The company is also developing the Roblox Card, which will be connected to Roblox Wallet and enable creators to spend their available balance wherever the card is accepted. The card is expected to begin rolling out next year. New focus on game discovery. Roblox is also enhancing how players discover games and experiences across the platform. The Moments tab, which allows players to watch gameplay videos and move directly into games, is now fully available in the United States. Upcoming updates will enable videos from Experience Details Pages to appear in Moments. Players will also be able to purchase items featured on avatars in videos, while games created through Build will become playable within the tab. Roblox is simultaneously updating its Discovery Ranking system to account for different engagement patterns among younger and older players. The system will evaluate engagement over a longer period, looking beyond the first week and considering player activity through the first 28 days and beyond.
