Requirements
  • Completed vocational training as an insurance and financial investments clerk or an equivalent qualification.
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in customer service for the application and policy-administration areas of private health insurance.
  • Strong knowledge of occupational and private health insurance and coverage for public-sector employees, together with basic medical knowledge.
  • Proficiency with standard electronic data-processing tools.
  • Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and methodological skills, including the ability to structure complex topics.
Responsibilities
  • Process complex new and existing applications in private health insurance.
  • Perform risk assessment in accordance with acceptance and underwriting guidelines.
  • Process policy changes, collection, dunning, and cancellations, and document all adjustments in the health-insurance portfolio.
  • Serve as a subject-matter contact for customers, field sales employees, and brokers.
  • Prepare quotations, certificates, confirmations, and other documents.
  • Provide contract information in particularly complex cases to authorized persons and institutions.
  • Handle written and telephone correspondence accurately and on time.
  • Contribute to additional assignments and projects involving new private-health-insurance issues, new processes, and new technologies.
  • Structure complex issues, evaluate their effects on operational processes, and identify required actions.
