About the Job

Requirements

  • Five to seven years of experience in Procurement or Strategic Sourcing, preferably across Events, Employee Transport, Gifting, Marcom, or other indirect or marketing-services spend.
  • A hands-on track record executing RFPs, commercial comparisons, supplier negotiations, and contract management in a structured corporate environment.
  • Working knowledge of relevant supply markets, including event and MICE agencies, corporate transport and mobility operators, gifting and promotional-merchandise vendors, and creative, print, media, and Marcom partners.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including advanced Excel for analysis, tracking, and reporting, and PowerPoint for leadership presentations.
  • Ability to drive change through standardization, continuous improvement, and best-practice adoption within the procurement function.

Responsibilities

  • Own category and supplier strategies for Events, Employee Transport, Gifting, and Marcom, in close collaboration with senior procurement leaders and business stakeholders.
  • Build ground-level market intelligence on rate benchmarks, new and alternate vendors, and emerging service and pricing models, and translate it into commercial advantage.
  • Drive year-on-year cost improvement and value creation across assigned categories without compromising service quality, timelines, or compliance.
  • Run the full sourcing cycle, including RFP/RFQ processes, e-auctions, commercial comparisons, negotiations, contract finalization, framework agreement renewals, and new vendor onboarding.
  • Negotiate rate cards and commercial terms across event agencies, transport operators, gifting and merchandise vendors, creative and Marcom partners, and print and media partners.
  • Manage supplier performance on SLAs, turnaround times, service quality, availability, and escalations, and take action to protect the business when a supplier underperforms.
  • Maintain approved supplier lists in line with category strategy and keep the vendor base competitive and de-risked.
  • Drive digitization and process automation in assigned categories through digital sourcing tools, supplier portals, and analytics dashboards to improve efficiency, data quality, and decision-making.
  • Prepare periodic MIS and category reports covering spend, savings, supplier performance, and KPIs for leadership decision-making.
  • Ensure Source-to-Pay (S2P) compliance with procurement policies, delegation of authority, and governance standards across assigned categories.
  • Coordinate with Global Business Services (GBS) on goods receipt, payment operations, vendor query resolution, and supplier-name reconciliation.
  • Maintain clean, audit-ready documentation and process discipline across the portfolio.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders, including Admin, HR, Marketing/Marcom, Facilities, Finance, and business teams, to deliver category requirements cost-effectively and on time.
  • Support sustainability initiatives across categories, including Scope 3 work on Employee Transport and Travel, the EV transition, green and sustainable events, and responsible gifting.

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with corporate spend workflows, including event and offsite planning, employee transport operations (managed, nodal, or spot), gifting programs, and marketing-communications procurement.
  • Experience with procurement or ERP systems such as SAP, Concur, or equivalent.
