Responsibilities
  • Conduct subject interviews to assess preliminary eligibility in accordance with study protocols and defined inclusion and exclusion criteria.
  • Explain study objectives, procedures, risks, and participant responsibilities in a professional and participant-friendly manner.
  • Obtain informed consent from eligible subjects before initiating study-related procedures.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for enrolled subjects and respond to questions about study participation, visits, and procedures.
  • Provide ongoing support to promote subject compliance, engagement, and retention throughout the study lifecycle.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and manage subject study visits according to protocol-defined timelines and visit windows.
  • Confirm subject availability and provide visit reminders as needed.
  • Prepare visit materials and ensure all protocol-required assessments and procedures are completed accurately and within required windows.
  • Maintain accurate inventory control, accountability, and reconciliation of investigational products.
  • Receive, store, dispense, and return investigational products in accordance with study protocols, sponsor requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with monitors, the Clinical Project Management team, and site staff to support overall study success.
  • Assist with recruitment and scheduling of site subjects through phone screening of potential participants.
Desired Qualifications
  • A college degree or equivalent relevant work experience is preferred.
  • Experience in market research, clinical research, or a related field is preferred.

Melanie Courtright to leave IA for Sago strategy role. In New Jersey, research tech and solutions firm Sago has announced the appointment of Melanie Courtright as Chief Strategy Officer, effective November 3rd. She is currently Chief Executive of US professional membership body the Insights Association. Formerly known as Schlesinger Group, Sago offers a broad range of managed and self-serve qual and quant solutions, including recruitment and project management for any methodology, online or in-person. It operates focus group facilities in fourteen cities in the USA, three in Germany, and one each in Spain and the UK. Two months ago it sold its Health division, led by President Shannon Childs and CEO Isaac Rogers, to continuing medical education specialist MLGH, aiming to sharpen its focus on its core consumer and B2B research offerings. Courtright (pictured) brings more than 25 years' experience of leadership roles in the MR and data analytics industry, and took up the top job at the IA in January 2020, after eight years at Research Now / Dynata. Here she worked in EVP roles including research science and data strategy. On joining Sago she will continue to serve in an Ex-Officio (non-voting) role on the IA Board, and in the coming months will devote time to supporting the Association and working directly with its new CEO to ensure a seamless transition.
