About the job
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required as an alternative education qualification.
- Proficiency in P6, Microsoft Project, and other scheduling tools is required.
- A general understanding of nuclear operations, practices, and processes is required.
- Travel is required to support fleet outages, meetings, and project execution or evaluation.
- Develop, maintain, and update multi-discipline project schedules for turbine generator outage implementation windows in support of the Long-Range Plan.
- Archive project schedules after project completion.
- Scope scheduled work and schedule equipment, materials, and onsite and offsite resources.
- Perform resource leveling in the most efficient and cost-effective manner within assigned organizations and systems.
- Ensure turbine generator outage schedules are developed in accordance with fleet and station requirements and standards.
- Interface with other work groups and onsite and offsite vendors to identify and collect information supporting schedule development and quality.
- Provide scheduling support for site work groups, site organizations, or vendors whose activities need to be coordinated through and integrated into the project schedule.
- Coordinate and schedule activities to minimize equipment and system out-of-service time and plant risk.
- Communicate schedule issues and conflicts promptly to the Director of Fleet Outages and the Turbine Services Project Manager.
- Attend project stakeholder meetings and report on the schedule.
- Assist in developing and updating Project Health Reports in preparation for Project Review Committee meetings.
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Five to ten years of power plant scheduling experience is highly recommended.
