Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • March 2026 benchmarks covered 800,000 customers, 1,000 companies, and 15 industries.
  • August 2026 report added AI and total shareholder return analysis, deepening executive relevance.
  • Plans now include 15 licenses and quarterly insight discussions, boosting expansion within accounts.

What critics are saying

  • Bain can shelve Prism if consulting priorities shift, killing standalone momentum.
  • Enterprise CX teams increasingly build internal benchmarks with Qualtrics and Medallia, eroding pricing power.
  • If Bain data coverage lags quarterlies, Prism becomes a generic dashboard and loses relevance.

What makes NPS Prism unique

  • Bain owns Prism; it inherits NPS inventors' brand credibility and consulting distribution.
  • Prism benchmarks customer episodes, not just scores, across 10 industries and 30 countries.
  • Data refreshes every 90 days with 18 months history and Bain expert interpretation.
