  • The Site Coordinator I position requires a minimum age of 20.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience in youth or teen programs or afterschool environments is required.
  • The candidate must be able to lead a diverse team and engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • The candidate must understand teen development and group facilitation.
  • The candidate must have communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and general office software is required.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
  • CPR, AED, and First Aid Certification are required and can be obtained upon hire.
  • The Site Coordinator II position requires an associate degree or higher in education, social services, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in youth or teen programs or afterschool environments is required for Site Coordinator II.
  • A minimum of 6 months of supervisory experience is required for Site Coordinator II.
  • Bus Driver Certification is required for Site Coordinator II.
  • Candidates must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening, including criminal and sex offender checks.
  • The candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active during program hours.
Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations of afterschool, summer, and youth and teen development programs in alignment with YMCA policies, procedures, and goals.
  • Supervise, coach, and support program staff and volunteers to ensure high-quality, age-appropriate programming in a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
  • Plan and deliver academic tutoring, enrichment opportunities, service-learning projects, physical activities, and youth-led initiatives.
  • Create a positive and professional environment that encourages effective communication, teamwork, and a sense of community among staff and participants.
  • Maintain accurate program records, staff documentation, and participant files in compliance with grant requirements and internal procedures.
  • Regularly evaluate program quality and staff performance, provide feedback, and implement improvements as needed.
  • Work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Travel locally to various sites and branches as needed.
