Responsibilities
Own collection performance for the assigned geography and buckets; understand local portfolio characteristics, monitor portfolio movement, and execute collection strategies to drive resolution and recovery outcomes.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of 2–5 direct reports; set clear expectations, review productivity and performance, and drive the team toward collection targets.
Manage 3–6 collection agencies across the assigned geography; ensure adequate capacity, drive productivity and resolution outcomes, and maintain adherence to quality and compliance standards.
Own resolution and recovery targets for the assigned portfolio; analyze MIS and key collection metrics, identify performance gaps, and implement corrective actions to improve outcomes.
Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines, company policies, and the code of conduct for collections; proactively identify and address compliance or process gaps.
Work with operations, risk, legal, analytics, and agency management teams to resolve dependencies, improve collection outcomes, and ensure effective execution of collection strategies.
