About the job

Requirements
  • At least 8 years of progressive FP&A or strategic finance experience, including ownership of budgeting and forecasting for a business line or business unit.
  • Hands-on project accounting experience, including EAC/ETC forecasting, WIP and unbilled revenue management, percentage-of-completion revenue recognition under ASC 606, and job costing in a project-based delivery environment.
  • Experience with hardware economics, including COGS, gross margin, revenue and margin forecasting, and mix in a bundled software, hardware, and services offer.
  • International company experience with multi-region stakeholders, including working across time zones and managing foreign exchange impacts.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, with the ability to synthesize and communicate insights to senior leaders.
  • Ability to deliver a solid answer quickly and iterate with rigor in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Ability to challenge operational leaders, including CoE leaders, project managers, technical managers, and sales engineering, on margin, scope, and pricing without routine escalation.
  • Knowledge of English is required to respond to English-speaking clients and collaborate with teams outside Greece.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the annual operating plan, monthly outlook, quarterly forecast, and long-range plan for SCADA Delivery, building driver-based models with base, upside, and downside scenarios.
  • Own and drive a risk-and-opportunity analysis that provides a dynamic, nuanced, balanced, and material view of the business relative to the annual operating plan or prior forecast for the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
  • Deliver weekly and monthly financial performance analysis, including variance to plan or forecast, root-cause diagnostics, outlook updates, and specific actions to mitigate risk and improve performance.
  • Drive the quarterly EAC/ETC forecasting process in partnership with project managers and ensure estimates are accurately reflected in the P&L and balance sheet.
  • Serve as a standing member of the SCADA Delivery leadership team, hold weekly one-to-ones with the Chief Delivery Officer, and co-attend key customer commercial reviews and project gate reviews.
  • Provide decision support and trade-off analysis to the Delivery leadership team, and evaluate investments, headcount additions, and new product offerings for return on investment and margin impact.
  • Prepare and present SCADA Delivery content for Monthly Operating Reviews, including dashboards, bridges, risks and opportunities, and executive recommendations.
  • Drive working capital initiatives focused particularly on unbilled reductions, days sales outstanding management, and collections.
  • Drive and influence improved data quality, faster revenue conversion, more efficient labor utilization, and higher profitability across the SCADA Delivery business.
  • Co-own cost build-ups and margin floors for new bids with Sales Engineering and Pricing, and gate bids on margin acceptability.
  • Build an integrated view of SCADA Delivery economics across hardware and software revenue and gross margin, and services contribution.
  • Partner with Commercial Operations on pipeline and bookings visibility, connecting bookings and backlog to revenue timing and headcount demand planning.
  • Partner with SCADA Delivery Operations, Pricing, and Procurement to forecast hardware margin drivers, including cost of goods sold, mix, freight, and warranty, and surface margin leakage early.
  • Own end-to-end project financial reporting and monthly close in partnership with Accounting and SCADA Delivery Leadership, from project setup in NetSuite through the monthly revenue recognition process.
  • Build and maintain project profitability reporting, including margin-by-project views of contribution margin, cost-to-complete, and variance to original bid; use findings to identify portfolio-wide pricing or scoping issues and document root causes such as scope, hours, subcontracting, materials, foreign exchange, and change-order leakage.
  • Manage work in progress; define and monitor early-warning indicators such as shrinking estimated gross profit, aging unbilled balances, and scope creep without approved change orders; ensure leadership receives timely visibility before overruns become surprises.
  • Conduct post-project margin reviews and synthesize findings into actionable insights for Sales, Pricing, and Commercial Operations to improve future bids.
  • Build rate card frameworks for labor burden by role, location, and seniority to ensure bids incorporate fully loaded cost assumptions; track utilization and realization rates against budget.
  • Streamline planning and reporting workflows, automate recurring deliverables, and improve data quality and consistency across NetSuite, Salesforce, and Cloud Coach.
  • Increase forecast accuracy and reduce fire drills by tightening the driver model, intake process, and cross-functional ownership.
  • Contribute to the NetSuite Advanced Manufacturing implementation and inventory process and reporting design.
  • Operate across international regions, cultures, time zones, functions, seniority, and tenure; manage multi-currency and foreign exchange impacts and drive consistent global KPI definitions.
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with ERP and revenue systems; NetSuite and Salesforce experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience implementing or serving as a subject matter expert for planning tools or enterprise performance management software.
  • Experience with a combined SaaS, professional services, and hardware revenue model, including comfort with multi-stream P&L economics.
  • Experience in a private-equity-backed or investor-owned environment.
  • An MBA or similar advanced degree in business or economics.
