Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • Two to four years of experience in marketing, communications, or public relations is required.
  • Experience developing digital and print communications, including email marketing, social media, website content, flyers, and promotional items, is required.
  • Experience with WordPress, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite is required.
  • Availability for occasional early mornings, evenings, and weekends is required.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while responding to changing priorities is required.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively is required.
Responsibilities
  • Create engaging content for the agency website, social media, newsletters, email campaigns, and other communication platforms.
  • Write, edit, and coordinate marketing, communications, and public relations materials that are clear, accurate, and consistent with the agency's voice and brand.
  • Support the implementation of marketing and communications plans and campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Maintain and update the agency website, including regular content updates through WordPress.
  • Manage day-to-day social media content, including planning, content creation, scheduling, posting, and monitoring engagement.
  • Support public relations efforts by drafting press releases and coordinating media requests and interviews.
  • Coordinate marketing and communications for agency events, including promotional timelines, digital and print materials, website content, email communications, and social media.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with staff, community partners, vendors, and other external contacts.
  • Track and report communications and marketing data, including website traffic, email performance, social media engagement, campaign results, and other key metrics.
  • Support consistent use of the agency's brand standards across digital and printed materials and promotional collateral.
  • Design and produce marketing materials using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, and other communications tools.
  • Support event planning, logistics, management, and execution as needed.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Its Center for Recovering Families offers holistic outpatient treatment that addresses the body, mind, and spirit and includes family involvement and services for uninsured or under-resourced clients. As Houston’s oldest and largest nonprofit in this field, it combines public funding, United Way support, private contributions, grants, and fees to offer broad access and no-one-left-behind care. Its goal is to help individuals personally recover and to rejoin their families and communities in a healthy, loving, and supportive way.
