EarthDaily secures Marigold renewals with two global mining majors.

EarthDaily secures Marigold renewals with two global mining majors. EarthDaily Sep 22, 2026, 7:00:02 AM Renewals validate Marigold's ability to deliver consistent, high-quality mineral intelligence across complex global exploration programs EarthDaily has announced that two of the world's largest mining companies have renewed their use of the Marigold mineral intelligence software, demonstrating its sustained value across large-scale global exploration programs. The renewals, each six figure contracts, reflect continued confidence in Marigold's analysis-ready remote sensing data, advanced spectral processing and exploration-specific analytics. One of the companies renewed following a competitive evaluation of remote-sensing solutions, selecting Marigold for the consistency and quality of its outputs and its ability to support confident geological decision-making. Both companies will continue using Marigold to evaluate prospective areas, analyze mineral and structural features and guide decisions about where to focus exploration resources. EarthDaily is also enhancing the software with new analytical and AI capabilities. As data from the purpose-built EarthDaily Constellation becomes available, its science-grade, high-resolution spectral observations will provide an additional proprietary input for mineral mapping, geological interpretation and large-area exploration analysis. "Renewals are a strong measure of whether technology is delivering sustained operational value. Our customers manage complex exploration programs and need mineral intelligence they can trust. Two of them choosing to continue with Marigold, including one following a competitive evaluation, validates the quality of the platform and its role in helping geologists make confident exploration decisions," said Steve Davis, Director, Energy and Mining, EarthDaily. From Spectral Data to Exploration Decisions Demand for critical minerals is increasing as governments and industries work to secure the materials needed for energy, infrastructure and advanced technologies. At the same time, many readily identifiable deposits have already been discovered, pushing exploration into larger, more remote and geologically complex areas. Declining ore grades and greater scrutiny of exploration spending are also increasing pressure on mineral exploration teams to identify prospective targets earlier and make disciplined decisions about where to deploy field resources and capital. Satellite data can accelerate that work, but turning raw spectral information into geological insight has traditionally required extensive preprocessing and specialist remote-sensing expertise. Marigold combines EarthDaily's exclusive Bare Earth Composites, cloud-accelerated processing and exploration-specific analytics in an all-in-one toolkit built for geologists. The platform enables exploration teams to: * Map alteration minerals, lithology and structural trends using advanced spectral tools and geologically meaningful indices. * Process and interpret multispectral and hyperspectral datasets across areas without preprocessing. * Integrate remote-sensing outputs with geological, geophysical and geochemical information in established GIS and exploration workflows. * Prioritize prospective targets and focus field programs before committing additional resources on the ground. Marigold's GIS-like interface makes advanced remote-sensing analysis accessible without requiring deep specialist expertise. Its cloud-based processing helps teams move from raw spectral data to geologically meaningful outputs in hours rather than weeks, supporting exploration at scales ranging from individual tenements to entire geological provinces. EarthDaily continues to develop Marigold around the evolving analytical and workflow needs of exploration teams, helping geologists extract more value from increasingly diverse Earth observation datasets. Exploration geologists from major/tier 1 miners through to junior explorers use Marigold for exploration insights, including the evaluation of new tenements, refinement of field programs and large-scale mineral prospectivity mapping. By bringing Earth observation data, geological analysis and scalable processing together, Marigold helps exploration teams move from pixels to prospects with greater speed and confidence. EarthDaily Awarded Canadian Government Contract to Develop AI-Enabled Border Monitoring Demonstration Platform

EarthDaily Awarded Canadian Government Contract to Develop AI-Enabled Border Monitoring Demonstration Platform EarthDaily Aug 12, 2026, 4:00:00 AM BC/Washington border. Captured by EarthDaily Constellation June 17, 2026 SMATAK project will explore how daily satellite data, artificial intelligence and operational alerting tools can strengthen situational awareness for Canadian border monitoring VANCOUVER, British Columbia - August 12, 2026 - EarthDaily Analytics (EarthDaily) today announced that it has been awarded a contract by the Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) to lead the Space-based Monitoring, Alerts and Tactical Awareness Knowledge (SMATAK) project. Funded through the Canadian Safety and Security Program (CSSP), the multi-year research and development initiative is being conducted in collaboration with DRDC and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). The project will evaluate how commercially available satellite data, artificial intelligence and geospatial technologies can enhance situational awareness for border monitoring. SMATAK builds on nearly a decade of research collaboration between EarthDaily, DRDC and the RCMP, including the Maritime Cueing of Optical Satellites (MarCOS) and Satellite Border Surveillance (SBS) projects. The new project advances that work through an integrated demonstration platform designed to deliver AI-enabled intelligence to analysts and simulated field users. EarthDaily will design, develop and demonstrate an end-to-end technology pilot integrating daily satellite data, AI-powered change detection, an analyst Alert Centre, ArcGIS and the Tactical Awareness Kit (TAK) ecosystem. The system will be designed to identify and communicate potential changes or activities of interest through near-real-time alerts. The demonstration will assess how consistent Earth observation data and automated analysis can improve awareness from national and regional operations through to field-level and analytical workflows. It will also examine how satellite-derived intelligence can be presented through tools already familiar to public safety personnel, supporting faster interpretation and more coordinated decision-making. "SMATAK builds on nearly a decade of collaboration with DRDC and the RCMP to advance geospatial technologies for public safety applications," said Chris Rampersad, Senior Vice President, AI & Analytics at EarthDaily. "By bringing together consistent Earth observation data, artificial intelligence, AI-powered change detection and operational visualization tools, we are working with our government partners to evaluate new approaches for delivering timely, actionable intelligence to analysts and field personnel and supporting future border monitoring capabilities." Canada's borders cover vast and often remote areas, creating complex requirements for monitoring and situational awareness. The SMATAK project will allow RCMP to assess how satellite-derived alerts and geospatial technologies complement existing information sources used by personnel to identify and evaluate activities of interest. The Canadian Safety and Security Program is managed by DRDC's Centre for Security Science. It supports science and technology projects that strengthen Canada's ability to address public safety and national security challenges. The project is scheduled to conclude with a final end-to-end demonstration in 2027. EarthDaily will provide technical recommendations and a feasibility assessment to help inform the RCMP's consideration of potential future border-monitoring capabilities. EarthDaily launches eighth satellite, enters commercial operations with full constellation

EarthDaily announced successful contact with satellite EDC-08 following its 7 July launch aboard SpaceX's Transporter-17 mission. The deployment brings the EarthDaily Constellation to eight satellites, the number required for commercial operations. Each spacecraft carries 16 imagers collecting data across 22 spectral bands. Seven satellites are progressing through commissioning and returning initial imagery. The constellation is designed to deliver daily global land coverage for monitoring change across defence, agriculture, natural resources, climate resilience, and infrastructure. The system features controlled geometric and radiometric calibration and spectral alignment with Sentinel and Landsat archives. CEO Don Osborne said the system is performing as expected, with satellites contributing to a common measurement system built for broad-area monitoring and AI-driven analysis.
